John Mayall. Godfather of the Blues. The best quality videos, both picture and sound are available on this amazing channel. Thank you Don Odell for sharing with us. ♪ ♫
Hot damn Rocky is burning it up just like Buddy Whittington when he played this with John. Two of the best of Texas great players . Rocky is the Malice From Dallas ..
At 80 that's amazing ,,,john mayall was one of the main people to turn the uk onto blues in the early sixties ',,one of the first albums I bought was the beano album ,,in 66 or whatever year it was
Wow - He still delivers and is going strong. I have the 2007 AVO Basel DVD of Chuck Berry, and it was plain to see that Chuck was on stage only for his legendary status. Basically he was playing bum notes all the time and the vocals were below par, but he was still playing. With John Mayall, he is a pro and would not perform if his performance is under par - WELL DONE
Not an absolute fan of John (he has some very good albums though) but he always had the creme de la creme as lead guitarists, Athas, Montoya, Whittington, Taylor to name a few

There's a reason why I got so heavy into Texas guitar players when I discovered bluesrock in the late 80s😎
