I was hoping you would explain the planner uploading process to Etsy. This is an important step which would have been very helpful. Thanks for a great video.

That's what I'm looking for
1. Create a google document or Canva page
2. Get link to your planner file and add to the page, there’s many tutorials on how to do this online
3. Design this page to look inviting, add text above the link stating it is the planner download link (this is the page your customers will open when they first buy your item)
4. Make sure your permissions are set to public so people can actually access the link, do this especially if you are using a google document.
5. Upload ONLY the page you just made to Etsy as a pdf
You can save your listing as a draft and go through the steps to make sure your planner is accessible and you did everything correctly. Hope this helps!
@@skylastoreyy How do we save planners? Is it just PDF standard? And how then do customers write in that planner? Do they have to have Goodnotes? I am so confused! I wish someone had straight step by step how to!! (I am even in one membership where 'professional' teaches how to sell digital products on Etsy and still no clear explanation!

Most of these tutorials lack a key point teaching how to add hyperlinks which is very crucial in these kind of digital planners

Hi....I try to understand something, but I cannot so I want to ask. The number of pages that you post on etsy store is only one page or you post the whole planner like 100 pages for example?

I see that you downloaded it as a PNG file - so it would treat it like an image. So how can consumers/buyers edit or write on that planner? Thanks

When you create this in a 8.5 x 11 size is this just for printing and writing on when u download the final product as a PDF? Can this used digitally on other apps? IF so how do the users use and write on the ur PDF file?

You skipped the most important part. What file you download and what parts are editable.
It's probably PDF. But just in case, include JPG/PNG or JPEG, if the tablets they have are using a tablet pencil.

I keep seeing that you can’t sell Canva already made templates… how do you get around that??? Because changing a couple of titles on the already made templates is still seen as illegal 😐

The user would need to have a app like Goodnotes to upload the digital planner. That's how they use it. Also, if you decide to create digital planner templates, you really should have the app as well so you can test your digital planner before selling it. Test for look & feel, functionality, and ease of switching to the various pages. I hope that helps.

Tad confusing as you downloaded a PNG and uploaded a PDF, the former being editable...maybe I missed something?
So we can use anything in Canva that is free? I always thought it was against policy to do that? I wanna make digital planners but don’t wanna get sued for stuff.
I think you have to alter the image in some way.
You can use anything in Canva, but you can't use them as is. You have to add more to it like texts and other images together.

I never use any of Canva's images, even though I make my creations there and I have the Pro account. There are way too many other sites to get images from.

Where is the opacity option, you said it but there was nothing on the screen when you were doing it

It is within Canva, when you select the image - in the top optionas next to the Position, there is an option for adjusting the transparency (looks like a pixelatedd square). When you click on that, it will show a scale, reduce it to make it fade.
