Ford Mustang American V8 best motor in human history.
Somebody get Ford racing a 4k camera
Are these gt3 cars running a higher level of bop, than Imsa in the usa races?
He doesn't even have to try with that motor
Video could be better, but thanks for sharing, awesome run on a great track.
It looks like they solved their low speed cornering issues but lost something in the sweepers. Could they be bagging before Le Mans? I hope so.
Looks like the engines are choked off.I heard that a customer GT3 Mustang for track days comes with 800 hp but WEC allows 550.Being a big car and slightly over weight, sticking it with low power will make it a back marker car unless they get lucky in the pits, the other cars take themselves out.Only thing going for them too is they won`t break down because they are under stressed.
The car isn’t overweight, it’s actually the lightest car on the grid after the most recent BoP change. And the road Mustang GTD makes 800 hp while the GT3 makes around 550 but all the other cars are also restricted to around 500-550 hp. A Ferrari 296 makes 819 hp, a Mclaren 720s makes 710 hp, yet their GT3 cars are also restricted to around 550 hp.
It's built under GT3 regulations. Meaning it has to have the pace necessary to compete, it was literally designed around that.
