We had a relaxing weekend getaway near Bangalore living in a cabin! At just 30KM from Bangalore near Nelamangala on the Bangalore Tumkur Highway we visited Camp Monk's Blue Mango and stayed in a wooden cottage. It felt like a tiny cabin house among Mango trees. It is pet friendly and kid friendly. We have given a detailed tour of our cabin home and the property. We also visited a beautiful lake 10mins away. It is a perfect one day outing in Bangalore as you can travel in one hour

Hello Swaroop & Suraksha, One piece of general suggestion.
Never suggest that "there could have been motorable road, till the doorstep of a temple or place or a spot".
DO NOT complain lack of facilities at natural spots . If provided, below things will happen:
a> They will no lose the sanctity and solitude
b> Will become "Kalasipalya or slum" on week ends
For instance "Hemavati" origin place, will soon loose its solitude and tranquil once temple is renovated and more motorable road is built. Looking at your reactions there, at walking in muddy slush, parking lot, you people are yet to understand the value "leaving some pristine spots" with buffer zones around them.
It's imperative that :
> Minimum of 1-2 kms of only walkable trail be left around these scenic spots.
> No canteen eateries allowed inside the buffer zone.
Always encourage viewers to take some pain and and not ask for all facilities. do not promote "Park Car kind of trips"
From someone who knows a thing or two about nature, core trekking...
Thanks for the suggestion! We are the last ones to expect any facilites at any place. End mile access is something we don't want. We merely convey what is there and what is not there. That does not mean that we are expecting all these facilities at every place we go.
Seems like a nice place for a quick getaway..just that I noticed that the breakfast seemed to be served in compartment plastic trays😒..not just here, I've noticed many mid range sit down eateries too switching to disposable ware..so much more trash generated..!

2) Upto what time wr can take a walk in the open area ? Is it illuminated with security guards.
3) Is the area safe for stay from the point of view of Snakes, wild animals, reptiles?
4) Is there Internet wi fi facilities?
I expect your views on the above aspects ASAP.
