It appears the tune list doesn't match the recording. At the 9:50 mark the Willie Maiden tune, "At the Sound of The Trumpet" appears, which isn't shown on the tunes listed on screen. Also, I suspect 1984 was the release date of this compilation, not the recording date. Maynard was guest soloing internationally with "At the Sound..." and "Got the Spirit" in the mid to late '60's. Plus Maynard's sound is definitely more 60's. Any other Maynardophiles out there have documentation to support one way or another?
New discovery to me... and agreed that songs aren't properly listed, it started with Body And Soul (no 2). However, sounds are pretty good! This is European pressing Lp (Yugoslavia).
Another great find twisted trails. The recording quality and sound of the RTB "Communist" Big Band is broad and fat sometimes nasty. Like Maynard stood next to you. Europes Big Band Scene in the 60/70 was cooking. Even behind the iron curtain.
