I love how the lyrics match whoever David is talking about, whether it be Xander, Arei, Nico, Ace or even Teruko. David does not care who he catches in the crossfire. He won't be holding back anymore.
I'm sure karma will collect David's debt. Just not yet. I don't think David did it. I don't think that debt will be collected anytime soon. I just don't see such an entertaining new antag kicking the bucket until chapter 5.
@Sophie walten I agree. With his 180, I see him surviving to stir the pot for chapters 3 and 4, only to ultimately be the Chapter 5 victim. I don't see him being a killer, and I certainly don't see him as a survivor.
@Sophie walten meh agree to disagree. Sayaka tried to kill Leon and frame Naegi, meanwhile Xander full on tried to kill Teruko. The circunstances are pretty different. I'll give you that about the motive but i think they have been doing a lot of unpredictable things. Like Teruko being the not so hopeful and happy mc, she is actually a bit antagonist. And also how there was an attempted murder before Arei's murder which never really happened before. I do hope they arent too predictable with David because knowing hes dying in chapter 5 already makes me less interested in him ngl. I hope they continue to give their little touch to the predictable dr formula!
@@JoaoPedro-eq3hj you know what else might work then? A twist to V3's chapter 4 and have the David actually die at that point. I don't expect a virtual world chapter, but it could work in a similar way, with David being lured into a trap and actually falling for it. Either that, or have David actually kill in Chapter 4 in self-defense in order to ensure his own immediate survival.
@Sophie walten still different situations imo + unlike normal dangaronpa, most people in this cast are assholes and its not exactly like we *need* David to last until the end considering there could other characters able to take his role as the big bad guy around. Like Veronika and Arturo, even Teruko if she reaches that point
David is definitely covering for someone, there's no way he fought so hard to convince everyone he did it after Teruko pointed out the flaws in his confession after shitting on Min.for fighting after defeat. The fish caught him off guard and he tried to brush it off as an unimportant fact. I can't wait to see what Charles has to say
This is great! Honestly it is hard to tell if David is going to be the major antagonist since literally half the cast gives messed up antagonist vibes but i have to say, how he used Hu, manipulated Arei, and likely Xander into trying to kill Teruko was so realistic! One thing i never really liked about Kokichi was how he seemingly manipulated everyone while being a jerk but David really hid it well!
Your thumbnail scared me because the way you crossed over Hu and Nico's eyes! I want Nico and Hu to among the suriviors of Despair Time's killing game (especially Hu since she's very upset about being deceived by David, she deserves to make it alive with 5 other students who will be true genuine companions!)

Remember, one of the people who has yet to reveal their secret is a murderer, and based on Hu's reaction to David asking her whether her secret is worse than his or Nico's, I'm starting to think it's her. And if she is secretly the murderer, then she ain't living much longer.
I love this video! Also.. Uhmm... When i realized when i was making a danganronpa series- i litterally wrote about ny chapter 2 motive and it's the same as danganronpa depsair time 😨😨😨😨 and i realized again that one of my characters act just like david but different 😨😨😨😨
I mean, to be fair, there’s not really that much you could interpret from it without the context of having watched the episode already. I try my best to make it still relate to the video without 100% spoiling it. From what I can tell, it only shows that’s “something” is up with David, not really what exactly. Honestly, I was more worried about the crosses over Xander and Arei. If you tell me, I could probably change whatever part that’s particularly spoilery tho that I might’ve missed tho. Sorry.
