and thats all :/

Now I got my camera to turn flash on and off with with my voice. No more button clicks. Sweeet.
Does autovoice works with Google assistant on the mobile device or it needs Google home
There is an option to interact with your google assistant from your phone.
i'm trying to set up macrodroid + autovoice in my android car headunit, to open/close apps, open/close windows, search for music, play/stop/next/previous music. Would it be possible for a walkthrough? Thanks.
I'm sorry, but it's unlikely
Is it doable without Autotools? thx
You can use autovoice without it
not sure how you got actions by clicking on help. I can't find a way to open actions anywhere...
Good Evening :) I have just installed Auto Voice in an experiment for the evening to try to setup an alterative to "OK Google" as my phones command so I dont also set off all androids in earshot. I have Installed OpenMic+ and experimented with it thoroughly, but it crashes constantly and simply doesnt work on my particular phone. Yours is the first tutorial im viewing on my first opening of the program. I have v2.0.49 free compared to your v2.0.27 retail, but the similarities of screens is adequate. At 3:01 in your video, you bring up what looks like a vital "Action Plugin" screen and say "lets take a look at actions available" however you do not show how you brought this screen up! The last visual of the partially transparent dot representing your mouse in the video is over the Help button and thats not the way to the displayed screen. Please reveal to me how to get to this screen so I can continue following along with your video.
do you mean all the actions? in a task when adding an action go to plugins-autovoice. all installed pluginy will be in that section.
Hello, thank you so much for replying so quickly! Ive found the Select Action Category, and am resuming following along with your video. My hope is to replicate the actions of "OK Google" from the phone when prompted by a custom command. So far, I have a custom command, it does cause execution of commands, but it takes far longer than default "OK Google", and Im not getting the Google voice confirmation (IE: "OK, Calling John Doe" as it opens phone and calls John Doe) Is this voice confirmation feature possible to allow with combo of Tasker/AutoVoice?
Ok looks like you are very new to tasker? I have The video right for you that Will take you through The entire setup and how to find stuff in tasker. youtu.be this Will show you how The profile is created and how to add tasks and actions. At The end of The video you Will find links to each section that talks further about it. I hope this will help . It may seem daunting at first but it is not in the long run
Ive had Tasker for only a few days now, and have set up perhaps a dozen profiles from various Tasker videos, so im still very much a beginner. The customization of OK Google has been a goal of mine for months so I jumped right into your video series when it came up on a google search of "customize OK google with Tasker". I got turned onto AutoVoice by the same search and have just installed it this evening and begun the 7 day full feature trial. Your video is very easy to understand even for a beginner, but I just dont have the muscle memory with Tasker yet to immediately recognize the steps to getting to all of the different featured screens.
Tasker is powerful but it could use some UI improvements to make things easier for a new users. Start with simple projects to get the full understanding of the framework. It's tempting to get nice and advanced project files from internet, but often require better understanding to modify the files accordingly - and this comes with time
Can i remove "ok google" hotword on my 'google nest mini' and change it into something else? (For example; "hey computer")
I try since hours to exchange the hotword on my smart speaker. That's all and only in want for now :)
At the moment you can use ok Google or hey Google from what I know. Alexa has support for Alexa and Computer
@@notenoughtech isn't there any apk or something? I try to experiment with 'Autovice, tasker and hotword changer', but it seams it only works on my smartphone (i can activate the g-assistence by saying "computer", but i didn't had success with other *hardware like the google *nest mini)
I won't have success in that case, probably?
Regards from Germany :)
It won't work on devices that don't have AutoVoice installed
Boa noite. Cara atualizei o app do google e não consigo mais fazer
comandos de voz no tasker e autovoice. Tem alguma dica do que pode estar
ocorrendo?
Please check the app permissions update could reset the permissions for AutoVoice
can u help me say "turn on my computer" with Wake On Lan plss
which part are you struggling with?
@@notenoughtech to program things in the tasker
There is a whole tutorial showing how to do step by step. I'm happy to give you guidance if you get stuck with something specific but your questions are too vague to answer
@@notenoughtech hmm thanks, but only wanted to say "Ok google" and turn on my computer and actually does it :)
You will need to intercept the command then run the task with WOL plugin. You can either have a custom command with autovoice or use IFTTT to send a request. In the latter you will need a webserver.
Não consegui. já limpei o cache do app do google e apps do tasker, ,mas nada muda, acho que paguei pelo app e não vou conseguir usar.
Drop Joao an email. Provide him with screenshots and details he will help you for sure!
I noticed u have a cordless mouse for ur phone how do I get one and how much
it's not a mouse. I'm just showing touches (option in dev options) but if you want to use a mouse and the keyboard:
www.notenoughtech.com/news/vysor-mobile-desktop/
How does the little dot move
+Rawlin Jernigan it's the touch. The dot shows where I'm touching the screen.
I have no android device ,can I still use it?
Not really as the voice commands are passed to the mobile or a tablet
Nice Videos! Tasker causes me so much trouble, but with your videos i could make some nice tasks by my own. I saw somewhere a nice video about a scenario called "sexy time"! Maybe you can make a Tutorial abaout it.
Here the Scenario! Your are coming home with your Date/Crush and just by saying "sexy time" (or whatever) the lights will dim and turn into red. A special Song oder Playlist will start on spotify.
It would be nice, if you could a video how to realise this. Even if you dont have Philips Hue Lights....
Probably we would have to work on a better keyword for a start :) The other AutoVoice tutorial actually uses the this to control LED lights linked to the RPI.So expanding this idea onto a HUE or similar system isn't that complicated.
Can you make a separate video that shows how to properly setup and use AV continuous without hearing the constant beep? Ideally I want to be able to trigger AV by my own trigger word and not using Google Now. I kind of hate "Okay Google". Thank you and all your videos. **subscribed**
I have another one planned about AV and processing the commands, I might add this to the video as well - it should be within the scope of that video. Thanks for a sub.
+NotEnoughTECH thanks. there is a hole in Tasker tutorials. most regarding AV are very old. the few that do talk about continuous do not go into detail to pull off continuous without beep.
I too would like to see this.
Now I'm even more confused and still have no he how to integrate AV with Tasker... Whenever I say a command, it hears me but nothing happens... Wtf
When a command is spoken and recognised, you should see a toast on screen. If you see the correct toast, it means you can link the EVENT AV RECOGNISED in tasker with the task you want to use.
I was having the same issue.
I would see the toast but Tasker would never do any tasks. I believe the fix was in the AutoVoice settings.
An un/reinstall of AV helped too.
I normally break things before I can fix them.
Jest szansa na napisy PL?
+mrtur marne napewno nie do 6tego bo wreszcie sie wakacji doczekalem. Ale zerknij na artykul w opisie Google translate powinno sobie poradzic
well explained! but could be easier with examples. but anyway it is better than nothing :D
Hey, - Hope you seen the written piece that comes with this tutorial?

Also, take a look at regex matching which is very useful for dynamic commands:

NotEnoughTECH it is very useful informative post. I'm reading it now. Thanks.
1:10 - "like to prawn it in the bad ground"?
Haha obviously :)
I have to say auto captions did well
Can you please STOP SAYING "OK Google." in this video?
lol
Just kidding.
But I like talking to my Google ... And your Google haha
Wow. First 10 seconds I couldn't watch well.
My Google Now ask window kept on popping up over and over.
We got through it though.
Thanks for this video.
Gosh... Tasker can be hard.
