When they first came out they were always tweeking on stage. I'm glad they are healthy now but that's when green day was in their prime in my opinion. Their first 3 albums Kerplunk!, Dookie and Insomniac are all fantastic album. I'm sure you know a lot of Green Day but you just didnt know it was them. Check out some songs off Dookie, one of the best albums of the 90s and I'll garuentee you know atleast 2 songs on that album.

Very good song musically. The lyrics really identify with the symptoms of someone suffering from borderline personality disorder. The constant feelings of loneliness, emptiness, abandonment. As a sufferer of BPD, it really describes most of the 9 classic symptoms of BPD. Probably the closest song I can relate to that just hits at the core of the illness. Just my interpretation. "I walk a lonely road the only one that I have ever known" BPD is due to being abandoned by a mother as an infant which is right in line with the lyric saying the only one I've ever known. "Check my vital signs to know that I'm still alive" classic line that relates to the suicidal feelings and the feelings a sufferer of bpd feels dead and numb to the world. I could go on and on about each line of the song but just A very powerful song lyrically.
