It's like he's doing it from his own will, whilst only "to serve" sounds negative to me. That's how I see it.
It's such a lovely scene to watch, Fran and CC gossiping like friends. I would've loved to see more of that. This was my favorite show at the time, and still love it so far. ❤❤❤
Even if I like that they where sort of enemies I would have loved more friendship scenes, specially towards the end where they actually start enjoying each others company.
