- It's time for another TBR jar prompt video! I mainly ended up with historical fiction and fantasy and because I struggle with making decisions, my "free pick" prompt is up to you! Let me know what you would pick between Shady Hollow and The Familiar, I really can't decide.
And also let me know your thoughts on these other books and what you're planning to read in May!

What a fun variety of books to read in May! Lots of historical options infused with romance & some fantasy 😍I'm excited to hear your thoughts on The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels because that sounds like such a fun read. My vote was for Shady Hollow because I really enjoyed it with the Zootopia meets Gilmore Girls vibes. Either way, I hope you have a great month of reading and hopefully have some five star books in this bunch!
I'm a big crier, so I'll be curious to see if The Women does the trick lol.

Hello! I’m also from Western NC! I live in a small town called Hildebran in Burke County. I’m right outside of Hickory (Catawba County).🙂 I LOVED The Familiar! It was my first Leigh Bardugo book. I’ll definitely be reading more from this author!🖤

So fun, as always! Although when you said your favorite color is blue, I wanted to jump through the screen and save you haha too many choices!!! But you handled that very well 😅 I love that you put in a prompt about you crying and then go on to define how much you might possibly cry 😂 I have definitely been known to bawl a little bit. I haven't heard of most of these, but The Women is supposed to be good and Powerless as well. For the Free pick I'm gonna vote for The Familiar!
