Dee Henderson is a Christian author who does great action and romance! Beverley Lewis writes fascinating stories about the Amish people. Lori Wick does lovely Christian small town romances with a bit of intrigue. The Yada Yada Prayer Group series gets you so attached to the characters too and their character growth! These are all my favs! And Karen Kingsbury has a huge backlist too, I would recommend her multiple series with the Baxter family most (she has like 4 of them haha)

I'm getting close to the end of the 3rd Red Queen book. I really enjoy this series! It has its cliche moments, but it's so entertaining. It's dystopian and fantasy!

I have to say I absolutely love the gnome on your bookshelf! I read and listened to None of This is True and highly recommend listening. The audiobook is phenomenal and really adds to the vibe with the podcast intros etc.
Ted dekker is a great author! He’s one of my parents’ favorite authors. He has a variety of different books. I think he’s known for his thrillers but he also writes fantasy and other stuff as well.
i read the physical book of None of This is True and i highly recommend that because reading the words in my own head gave it a very chilling and sinister vibe. i feel like doing it as audiobook would make it more entertaining but less chilling, if that makes sense? either option would be great either way, as the book is amazing!
I love Ted Dekker! His Christian thrillers are so good. I haven't read the A.D. series yet. I'm currently working on his The Circle Series. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on A.D. 30.

oh my gosh TED DEKKER is my FAVORITE author!!!! The duology you have is good, but i would ABSOLUTELY recommend you read the circle series: Black, Red, White, Green. It’s like a christian fantasy, and incredible! it’s my favorite series ever!
These picks were actually really good! Honestly, ‘None of this is true’ I read in one night I couldn’t put the book down! I understand why people would listen to it on audio book because most of the book is them in a podcast setting BUT you might miss important details SO i would read it ! I devoured that book girl . ❤

my TBR for december is if he had been with me, the american roommate experiment (these two being my recent buys) and once upon a dream. but im also going to re-read and annotate the book thief and ugly love. i would like to possibly get one day in december to be my xmas read and we'll see what i might get for xmas to see what else i read but those are my current TBR

I highly recommend Ted Dekker's daughter, Rachelle Dekker's books, too! Her series, the Choosing is YA Christian dystopia and is about the main character learning her worth doesn't come from society. I also recommend Deeanne Gist. Her books are Christian historical romance. My most favorite book ever is Wonderland Creek by Lynn Austin (also historical romance). So excited to see what you think of Ted's books! 🙂
I read 'None of this is true' as an audiobook (thanks spotify!) and it was an amazing experience. I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much reading the paperback, but I think you should just try both out and see what you prefer :)

I really really recommend “Blink” by Ted Dekker!! It has such an interesting plot and is super fast paced!! It’s such a page turner too…it’s my favorite book by him!!

Some Christian fantasy you may be interested in picking up are; The Left Behind series, This Present Darkness/This Piercing Darkness duology and The Shack. I’ve only read one Ted Decker, The House which I just thought was average. Obviously just reading one book by an author isn’t going to give the best indication of whether I enjoy their work or not and you may like it.
Heyyy, if you want another Christian author one of my favorites is Terry Blackstock! She writes amazing books, and my favorite of hers is 'If I run' which is a mystery type thing with a subplot of romance
I read none of this is true and loved it. After finishing I listened to the Podcast on Spotify (the book is about a podcast and they created the episodes, that were described in the books, as a real podcast. It’s called Hi, I’m your birthday twin). This was so much fun. But I think listening to the audiobook could be really fun too.

Is it weird reading books about snow and cold during the summertime? Also, I finished Tom Lake and it’s so good esp on audiobook! I would classify it as women’s fiction. It’s a good book! I did both for None of This is True and preferred the audibook. Her best work I believe and I’ve read almost all her books.
