Man made a killer season 5 with SUPERNATURAL. Here's hoping he can do it again with The Boys. Also, Vought Rising isn't something I was expecting, a soldier boy prequel isn't as interesting as a peacemaker/suicide squad/captain america esque show set in the modern day with Soldier Boy.
I agree, but that modern day show is the Boys season 5. I think they will end Soldier Boys story in season 5 and they aree making a prequal to give us something while we wait for season 5.

Kripke threw away Neumann's story arc. He threw away Mallory's story arc. He built up the Deep possibly having a redemption arc, then turned him into a cartoonish goon with no redeeming qualities. He ruined the character of Black Noir. Kripke is an idiot.
They/He can make it as political as they want. Homelander will still be considered a hero to millions no matter what. The "Based" Superhero. So by making it more political it will have the opposite effect for them. Just like Christian Bale's character from American Psycho or Joaquin Phoenix in Joker.
