I’ve been diagnosed with LS two months ago and have had it for two years. Your videos help me so much and allow me to feel not alone. I appreciate you so much! I hope to be able to speak to you one day. I’m a 21 year old from london!! Thank you
Hi, Kamila. Aw, thank you so much for your kind words. I super appreciate. If you ever want to book a 1:1 support call, I do offer those - learn more at www.lostlabia.com/supportcall It sucks having LS at such a young age; I can relate (started getting symptoms at 20) but there is definitely hope (I've been in remission for almost 3 years now). With love, Jaclyn
Thank you so much for the tips, my dermatologist has never told me about anything like that. I'm from France and I discovered your channel thanks to Kathy from the lichen sclerosus podcast. You're both great with helping me with LS.
Thank you Jaclyn! I am new to this diagnoses of LS and heading to the beach/pool in 2 months. With your guidance I now know I can still enjoy swimming with my g’kids on our vacations (hopefully no flare up at that time!)
Aw, yes, I hope you can have a fabulous time and keep flares and discomfort at bay so you can truly be in the moment with the kiddos and enjoy the beach like you deserve. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment; I appreciate you.
Thank you Jaclyn, I attend aqua class 4 or 5 days a week and always use the shower outside the pool, or inside if it's too cool, to wash off. Then I get changed and go home, but hadn't thought of applying the barrier cream so will definitely being adding that to my routine and I always apply cream afterwards. 👌💐😀
Hi, Jayne! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I love aqua fit classes - they are so fun and great for your cardiovascular health, muscles, and joints. Glad you found a helpful tip in here - you are already doing an amazing job
Thank You Jacklyn, short and sweet, but still so very informative. I am not a big swimmer myself, but somehow I am now missing the feeling of the sea (talk about mind playing tricks on you!) but I want to try and swim again
Haha, yup, the mind can do that. I think sometimes, even if you aren't a big swimmer, it can just be nice knowing that you can, if you wanted to. LS already feels like it takes so much away from you that it can be really nice to know that if you were on vacation and your friends and family were swimming, that you can join.
Hi. Thanks for the informative video. I just came from the doctor and was diagnosed with LS. One of the worst thoughts was that I might not be able to go swimming anymore, and your video really helped me feel better. I’ve noticed that there is a trend towards saltwater pools replacing the chlorine treated swimming pools. Do you know if the salt water pools are friendlier to LS?

So happy you posted this! I was wondering if I could swim. Thank you for the information.
Yes!!! Totally OK to swim. We don't want to let LS take over our whole life. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. With love, Jaclyn
Love the short clips- thank you! Excellent topic
Yay! Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. I definitely think they are more digestible. Thanks as always for watching and commenting. I appreciate you

What about using my hot tub? We ordered a spa in April. It will be delivered in 2 weeks and I was diagnosed with LS last week.
