Dude, this was exactly me Sunday. Took both my boys to TCGcon here in Houston. As soon as my 8yr old spe t his $60 show money, he was like, let's leave! He must have asked 100 times in 90 minutes. I even gave him $20 more to shut him up and made him wait to spend it 😂😂
Love the sticky note idea. I know as a buyer, I get lost a lot when multiple cards are involved. Glad to see the Manny auto still in your case at the end of the day...😄

Congrats on an awesome show and another personal show best in sales! You do a great job of trying to get your price but also being incredibly fair. The sticky notes are a great idea. I watch so many dealers either not price stuff, not have any price in mind, or they are FOREVER to come up with a bundle price. Your efficiency benefits you and the buyer both. Look forward to these videos!
Appreciate it! I try to operate by "firm but fair" and try to work with people if it's reciprocated. You're right on the sticky notes being efficient, that was something I didn't even consider before I started doing it. I certainly felt more "in control" navigating the deals.
I really enjoyed the video. Great perspective and thoughts on upgrading your inventory. I sell mainly online via eBay and social media, and I have been occasionally picking up larger cards to move.

Great video! The local shows have been packed and I see a ton of deals getting done. Yeah, there are still people who are way underwater on stuff, though, too. Cannot wait for the National. Kinda wondering where the heck trade night(s) will be, if not in every nearby hotel, lol.
That's great to hear! As far as trade nights, they will probably be much more organized since the hotels are not close to the venue. I'd expect some rented out spaces in the convention, local breweries, and/or rec centers.
