Great video Mike:) I hope to have something for you in the future I'm aiming to make an entry level board that's more affordable I've some testing and mods to do,, but it's looking good, and I should have something to look at soon,, Just to let you know I'm here Bud have a Rockin night Mark
So when will the EFI model technology be out for other models, IE fuel injection etc. If not when will the Race Titanium be available for purchase in the US and were can these be raced state side?
DUSSELDORF GERMANY is the surf city? Huntington Beach should be sued? WAIT a second that is riding a powered board not surfing. SURFING IS RIDING A WAVES POWER ON A SURFBOARD. I have drove stand up jet skis on waves and jumped them but did not call it surfing. Jet smurfing is the new name.
JetSurfingNation Serious?? Not so serious more joking. They look fun but do not expect or would approve of their use in known surf breaks with others surfing. Would be a nice toy at the river and riding swells
The beauty of jetsurfing is that we dont need to mess up in the crowdy breaks and can get the wave far deeper in the ocean that is not accessible to the regular surfers anyways.
Jetsurfing Nation That is good and not an issue. Looks like it is fun to ride. I have ridden stand up skis on waves around 10-15 times and surfed many years and many breaks from weak to epic and huge. I have not ridden a jet board (am interested in riding one) but would not expect it to be what surfing is. I imagine being able to ride a jet board ok in not much time or right away. (not great and hard to know until I ride of course). Surfing waves on a surfboard is a skill that takes more work and experience to do. The learning with a larger single fin board on good shape gentle and not large fast waves makes the learning less harsh and faster success. I can not honestly tell how different or skill needed to compare both until I ride one. What is good for one may not be for another and one may enjoy and do well at both? Looks fun
Take a look at the video. The experience is of course different from regular surfing, as you are much faster on a jet board but of course you are limited in the maneuvers you can do as it's very heavy and not much maneuverable like a regular light shortboard. I have 5.6 shortboard for years but honestly since i got jetsurf I never used it anymore, as it's so much more fun to ride non stop comparing to constant paddling and sitting waiting for the wave. It's completely different experience. It's not easy though, because on jetsurf you ride non stop and don't get any moment to rest until the tank runs out of gas. Also if you fall it's pretty challenging for most people to stand up again as it takes a lot of practice in the choppy wavy conditions to get the speed and balance needed to stand up. The jetsurf is very short and has almost no flotation so we cant sit on it or paddle on it, you start it and must get on it instantly. Not soon I'm afraid. Most likely next year.
You can learn more about jetsurf racing world cup here motosurfworldcup.com
Electric one is very promising!
Whats the warranty on these? I imagine if they develop problems there's no where that can work on them other than Czech Republic.
1 year probably. Most issues are small and you or your dealer can resolve.
The hydrofoil one is cancelled but the electric one looks promising, see our new video about jetsurf electric on the channel
EFI model technology will be next year as well, they are testing it already on the racers and titaniums
There's a battery inside ? so no possible anymore to take with us in a airplane ? The regulation is very strict !
In jetsurf electric yes there is a battery
