The Constable is such a versatile preamp pedal. Thanks for posting this. I have one on the way.

Is the actual amp set a bit brighter with more trebles or is the preamp just pushing a bit harder than the constables can? I can only say that I think mids are smoother on the constable but it seems to be not driving the power section as hard. I just got a Constable V2 (I am assuming the standard plexi) in; Do you feel that the JTM45 is different enough to warrant getting one as well? LOL any excuse to buy more stuff.

I’d be curious to have you use the brightest cap (bright all the way to the right) and the output set to the right so it pushes the power amp the hardest and see if it gets closer to the real plexi

Great preamp! To my ears SV20H seems to have slightly more bite. But, you know, I'm just listening to a TH-cam video... How is it in real life?

Tuning up that high E sure would make the dirt sound so much gooder..

Awesome stuff and sounds great. Have you ever used them without diming the master volumes?

Yes. I'll set master low for clean or edge of break up tone. You can check out another video of mine which compares low gain tones.

What is difference between Constable Plexi and Constable JTM45? Are the two effects different? Or is it a difference in settings? I have Constable, but my pedal is just Constable.

JTM -more bass- thicker
Plexi- aggressive upper mids -brighter
