Hi, I found out that the name of the soundcheck-track is consolable by blue (Album: on my way), but i can only find previews.. Can you please tell me where I can buy the full length version. Seems to be a nice soundcheck track, love it.
Nice subs! Future goals :) Hey, simple question: are you doing some magic to get around the power-alley with LR stacks, or do you just accept it? I'm always surprised to see LR subs given we all know about the cancellations. Thanks again; love to own RCF someday!
yourfirekiller it can definitely be a problem. We usually try to have our subs in the center in a row that way we can shape them easier with processing. We have also done end fire, and cardioid. Sadly it is always a little bit of a problem. Whenever you are ready to buy let us know and we can get you the best deals.
yourfirekiller Absolutly agree. I literally cant make sense of people having access to this level of equipment and then putting it in the worst places. Good video though
Hello, looking at getting either of these subs in the next year (either 2 or 4 units) and I'm wondering which would be your choice if you had to pick 1 model and for what reason. Thank you!!
It’s such a hard question they both have their own benefits. The 9006 is more musical and goes down lower. The 8006 is more punchy and honestly with less cabinets feels like it has more output. It really depends on which tops you will be using too. If you are in the US give us a call and we will get you the best deal possible. 2562754734
@@sweettreeproductions2149the cardioid system in 3 subs works well. I tried with 4 8006 end fire configurations at a distance of 1.42m (60hz) and they work very well. also cardioid with 4 sub (gradient line) 1.42.
Fernando Alexander I know for sure on the 9006 that the red light isn’t a true clip. You can tell on the rdnet software it still has a way to go before it is clipping. As far as the 8006 subs we never saw the limit light. We have been told as long as the limit light isn’t continuous on the subs then you are ok.
Hey. i know that if you push an 8003 further on than the clip limit light it will automatically turn off for some time (sek) to cool down. i think the same feature is in the 8004
How i said in an other video. This is not a real cardioid. Their is too little difference between front and backside. For a real cardioid you need a difference of at least 20db all over the frequency range.
I was just going to say that I did not notice much of a difference between both the 8006 and the 9006 from the back or the front in cardioid or not. Also to setup a cardioid sub system would you have to engage the cardioid button in the back of the 1 sub that is facing the back?
Hi i see only about less 3db rejection on the back from the cardiod configuration could be better vs the competitors out there which do better job i think.
@@sweettreeproductions2149 I know the problem! And the solution! You have to rotate them 90° So they are standing upright! Use the same Stack configuration (The middle one facing backwards + Cardio mode) and you should be fine. I found the solution in Ease Focus when I was simulating my rig for the next event after corona. First I tought the Cardiod mode wasn't working in EaseFocus and I got pretty upset, because its needed in the location and this would force me to rent an other system. I experimented a lot with different bass arrays, and some days ago I had the idea to build a array with "vertical" or upright cardiod stacks of the 9006... And... A good amount of cancellation!!! I couldn't belief it at first but it seems to be true! Try it yourself! Greetings from Germany!
Lance Soto on the Rdnet cabinets that light isn’t clipping it is the beginning of limiting. If you have the software hooked up yellow on the software is limiting and red is clipping. We personally feel the 9006 are set to limit too early.
Your Cheating ... LOL... In Cardioid set up on the 8006's you are less than a foot from the middle speaker . You are not getting the cancelation at 1 foot on the Rear . Yet when you go to the front of the stack you are at least one meter away from the stack . Which is still not right when doing a Cardioid set up . Other than that it is nice to see . Keep up the good work . HAPPY NEW YEAR !
Something is very wrong here. With those cabs, using the built in cardioid settings, in that configuration, you should have 10-15 db cancellation out back. And a cardioid setup will NEVER make as much SPL as the conventional setup, apples to apples. Also, those cans are serious bass makers. Clipping them as shown here means there are some problems. 120 dbC , even at 4’ is outrageously loud, by any metric. This vid had me eye rolling at each example. Please god get informed. Before you ruin someone’s ears and some very expensive equipment.
Hi Andrew, thanks for the comment. We agree you should have a significant cancellation in the back. We also agree cardiod set up has less spl. It is physics after all. However we aren’t clipping at all the red light you see on the 9006 is a soft limit light. That firmware version of those subs in our opinion limited these subs prematurely. Out of the hundreds of RCF speakers we own we have never blown a single driver. So I wouldn’t be too worried. Also we were wearing hearing protection. We will continue working on informing.

Are those clip lights @11:16?
Yeah
They are limit lights. Thankfully we weren’t clipping.

Hola podría, darme su opinión personal sobre que sub elegir sobre un 9004 o 8004?
Maybe it would be more accurate next time to do sub only. Mute left right bus and only have the sub.

bluetooth headphones and after that you can STFU
hi. is it possible to do this configuration in the center in the horizontal line?
Yes we have done it with 3 8006’s and it works very well.

Was the main sounds of rcf 9006 were soft punch?
What's the benefits of running the 8006 thru a driverack?
Unless you are worried that a guest mixer is going to destroy them there isn’t a lot of advantages.
I have the 8004's and also see the red light flasing just like in the video. is that ok to run it like that?

Benoit Rioux the 8006 subs always make a huge difference. You can actually talk behind them. The 9006 subs I really wish would do better.

True statement. We are about to do some more sub videos outside showing gradient, and end fire. We will probably do the cardioid video again as well.
