I seriously can't get over the change in Gentaro, my god he is huge & quite intimidating. But he still sucks his finger.😉 Can't believe Kintaro is 6. That just means I'm getting older. 🙋

Up at 4.30am for a long, frustrating day at work. Finally got home at 6.30pm all cranky. Then watched Momotaro & Gentaro's elegant swinging across the roof, Mr Charisma all arms & legs & cute Genki just being cute & now all is right in the world! Great way to start a Friday night ❤️ 🦍
Gentaro gave his pops a gymnastic workout. He was on his tail the whole time. he thought he was getting away, not today.thats from a whole week.thanks GL-Ryan feel better keep those fingers warm use gloves.🧤
I imagine if Gentaro was in the wild, he would be absolutely thriving. He has a very strong personality, with definitive alpha-like traits, and he's highly motivated to dominate and display....plus it looks like he's going to be a BIG unit....whereas Kintaro is quite stumpy with short legs, so he may be on the shorter side. They would probably be able to stay in the same group as the hierarchy would be very easily understood....unless Kintaro is a very late bloomer and suddenly becomes huge.... his little helicopter legs are so funny though, especially when he's swinging from the bars 😂😂

The zoo should ensure that he is allowed to contribute to the genetic diversity of the population, potentially passing on Mo's desirable traits. Whatever Zoo acquires in terms of new attractions, it is likely that he and his partner will generate significant revenue, as many visitors will be eager to see them!

I agree Momo has splendid muscle mass. He also has great posture. Gentaro has poor posture. Gentaro's back dips down very low in the middle. Easy to tell them apart

Japanese language. I would be sure to fail to learn the language since this is too complicated. We Japanese have to use and understand three different letters.
Momoto is a large beautiful gorilla,and his son,gentaro will soon look almost like his dad,but if you watch the family long enough,you will still know the difference between the two 😮

I'm so afraid that someday one of them is going to fall and really get hurt. Its sad for me to see Gentaro looking so angry all the time. I miss the days when he wrestled with Dad or Kintaro with a smile on his face.
Momotaro's legs are more silver still, but Gentaro does look very similar. It will be harder in the future for me to tell them apart if they are moving in the distance.
They also just lost Kokamo...Leslie's mom.😢 But I am sure they have a silverback already lined up to go there. You know they plan out the gorillas lives as soon as one is born. They also have a lot of bachelor's groups to pull from in the US.

It's because Momotaro snout (mouth) comes to a narrow point and he has good posture. Gentaro snout ( mouth )is very wide and his posture is not good. He has a deep dip in the middle of his back. This is how I can easily tell them apart

Those aerial acrobatics they do on the ceiling are amazing! Good exercise for all involved considering they have mostly sedentry lives.

Kintaro loves playing with Gentaro, but Gentaro does get carried away during play sometimes. I enjoy seeing Gentaro play with Kintaro. 🥰❤️❤️🌹🌹

Remember Gentaro was smaller than Kintaro at that age (6). Don't count him out just yet.

San Diego zoo lost their wonderful silverback to natural causes last spring. Maybe Gentaro could go to San Diego?

Sorry GL I don't see any resemblance between Momotaro and Gentaro. Not by face or by physical characteristics.
