I recently came back to the US after a two-week trip to japan and remember going to some of the places featured in the video. Very nostalgic and loved seeing it again. :)
@@Rambalac Changhao was referring to the protagonist of the Yakuza videogame series (portraited in his avatar), whose events unfold in a re-imagined version of Kabukicho called "Kamurocho". The similarities are incredible.
Wonderful walking with you in this awesome city! I really appreciate your effort in showing me around. I wish I could go there personally but I am too poor . At least I had the opportunity to see it. Thank you very much!!!!
I walked right through here. Smoked hookah on one of the upper floors in the skinny building at 3:04. Got sushi at the place on the left at 3:51 (Ougisushi) and it was delicious. Also did karaoke somewhere in that same alley. The robot restaurant at 10:32 (as seen on Parts Unknown w/ Anthony Bourdain) is crazy as hell.
13:24 - Next to those flowers is a strip club. I never entered but I always wondered about the place. 13:29 - Bar Champion, my favorite bar in Tokyo. All drinks ¥500 and just ¥100 per song for karaoke. They have a huge selection of English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean songs. No stage, someone will pass you a mic and you sing where you are standing. Most of the bars in Golden Gai are pretty small, many are members only and some have a cover charge.
I am just about to leave Shinjuku after a week here. I appreciate these video tours. Maybe I am too old but I feel this particular area of Shinjuku really sleezy and horrible. To see literally hundreds of Japanese people of all ages sitting in long rows before these infernal gaming machines makes me ask what is going on with society here & elsewhere in Japan. These people can be found in these places day and night being fed & watered by the owners to encourage their lengthy visits. To look at the gamers dedicated anti social faces is to behold a lost & evidently lonely generation. To also see the massive counters in, say, BIC of stupid fads and to see the excitment they bring to all ages. This is all endemic in Japan and has no age barrier which surprised me. How many times have I observed middle age women entering the subway and immediately playing the likes of "candy crush" etc as if their lives depended on it! To see 90% of the carriage with them concentrating on their mobile phones. No eye contact. No smiling. Near total silence. George Orwell really would have needed to revise his book after a visit to Japan !
Как в Японии скучно . Нигде нет ни бомжей ни разной срани , никто не ссыт под дерево . Приезжайте к нам в Россию и всё это везде увидите , вот это романтика !
I dont edit videos, only cut and join. Editing 30min 4K video takes about 10 hours, youtube also takes more than 15 hours to process 1h video to full quality. That means just to make one video it can take several days or up to a week if I make some mistake. Another problem most of Japanese streets do not have names. Golden Gai looks absolutely amazing.
Golden Gai needs to be preserved forever !!! another pearl found by you, thanks :)
A pleasant shopping paradise-very spacious, trendy and the alleyway seems like a lot of hidden gems.👍

This is like going to a casino and being surprised to see gamblers, finding degenerates in Kabukicho does not mean everyone everywhere is like them.
Thanki you
So mesmerizing and relaxing
That's rad.
Did you find the Midnight Diner?
Love it 💖💖💖💖⭐️😊 what kind of camera do you use?
ei Rambalac vc saberia me dizer o nome da função q os jovens ficam na porta dos restaurantes convidando as pessoas para entrar?

well i dont know how good you at editing, but how about you blend the names of the places you passing by in the video or the streets you walking in

moisture on the lens ruined most of the video
