Undi de Pueblo Paleta charming that you use the french word “flaneur”, it is the same word used to describe Brassai, the photographer that documented Paris by night in the 1930’s and ‘40’s. You are right, Rambalac is a great “flaneur”.
Oh..my...goodness. I've been searching all over TH-cam for walks around Japan and not only have I found a channel dedicated to it, but this video is a walk at night in the rain. Thank you so much for this!
I stayed here for 10 days in November, and since coming home I have missed Japan SO much. This video legitimately made me tear up. Thank you. I cannot wait to return.
Looking at the map that was one heck of a walk through the rain. Always enjoy seeing the Kimonos - that's Japan to me. At the end when you panned to the right while crossing the Sumida River that was a great shot of the buildings. Great job and thanks so much for doing this for us.
A fabulous rainy night walk with so much effort put through. That thunder gate pretty spiritual, majestic and a cascade of water flows is so soothing.Very intense Japanese feel with indepth Japanese culture. There are some shops with eastern touch combining western influences.Japan is quintessential in every aspect.👍✌👏🌸🌸💖💕
So beautiful I had to watch it again. We don't get much rain in Southern California. I find the rain so soothing, so rhythmic, it is entrancing. Couple this with the stunning video images - how can you NOT love watching? I laughed at 2:30 when R paused at a gift shop with stuffed cats...lol.
Dude, im tearing up. I havent been to Japan but this really seemed familiar. The rain, the view, especially those stalls at the beginning. The feels man.
Since I used to live in Tokyo and I could go to Asakusa whenever I wanted to, I have not been there on a rainy day. Yet, the atmosphere is pretty nice! You know, it is usually packed with tourists and difficult to go through between them. When I go back to Tokyo from the US, I will visit the Asakusa area again but I won't go while it is raining, because the video has already entertained and satisfied me! haha
Hello, I like this walk. In September I will be with my wife for 10 days in Asakusa View Hotel an with your help I could learn a lot already about the area around our hotel. Hope we will see less rain.
I enjoy your walks around the streets of Japan strangely hypnotic and calming, might sound strange but looks like you get a same type of rain like we do in Ireland ..light but persistent (in fact it's doing it right now 🙂) some countries it's just straight down downpours , really like your uploads
Very beautiful quality , nice and smooth video, like the others on your channel ^^ I always liked very much such silent walks with the camera in different cities of the world. With pleasure I will subscribe to your channel. Greetings from Rostov-on-Don / Russia
0_0 Nani ?)))
Oh, it's not spoiling. Fortunately or not, but camera cannot show everything (not because it's not 360). It does not pass smells, sound is not good as real, no temperature and wind, no touching sense.
I’m just here on March 25, right after breakfast☺️not too much people yet, then I have a 30 minutes richshaw tour around asakusa and a kimono pictorial in a studio..I’m shy to do it outside, might be more memorable I think..
Hello Rambalac. I am subscribed to your channel and I really enjoy your walks. I went to Japan in 2016 and will be back in May now. Can you tell me a camera with 60fps video? Not very expensive.
I love this, but my perfect video would be two hours of walking in the rain through all the darker back streets, not the shotengai or tourist stores.I lived in Osaka for three years and it reminds me so much of coming back to my apartment after a night out...
As much as I watched your videos, I continue to wonder at your technical know how. I tried to go for a walk with my phone in a gimbal recently, and the main thing I drew from watching the experience was hearing me breath. One would think I was having a heart attack.
Great walking video of Tokyo as always! I have a question though: have you ever had any problems with copyrighted music on your videos? Nipponwandering always seems to cut the audio in the parts of town that play copyrighted music e.g. Johnny band or jpop singers since he apparently had problems with that before.
Sometimes. But in many cases ContentID or/and copyright owners do not bother if it's just a short background noise. And even if they put a claim, TH-cam has nice music removal tool which recently works almost perfect removing music without other background noises. But during live streaming I try to mute sound because ContentID claim will break streaming and prevent using live streaming feature for 90 days. Still it's not that strict.
Salut !
Rambalac visited Tokyo Tower on Halloween night. I loved all the mall window displays, the lights, the costumes, the food, and the amazing views. Better video than live cam, because it has purpose and depth.
Nice rainy night walk. If I were living in Tokyo, this is what I would do!!
Me too! Mesmerazing
My god, this is incredible. As I said, you're the best japanese flâneur channel right now. Thank you.
Undi de Pueblo Paleta charming that you use the french word “flaneur”, it is the same word used to describe Brassai, the photographer that documented Paris by night in the 1930’s and ‘40’s. You are right, Rambalac is a great “flaneur”.
☺️
Rambalac always the best and delicate texture like an artist.
One of the best night walks you've shown! The route was so enjoyable. I couldn't stop watching! Thank you!
Somehow the lens flare distortion due to the rain on the lens gives the video such a dreamlike effect i love it
Tokyo is an awesome City. I love your "Sightseeing" Vids.
Thanx and best regards from Berlin / Germany
Oh..my...goodness. I've been searching all over TH-cam for walks around Japan and not only have I found a channel dedicated to it, but this video is a walk at night in the rain. Thank you so much for this!
This is one of your best vids, in my opinion. Good job.
I stayed here for 10 days in November, and since coming home I have missed Japan SO much.
This video legitimately made me tear up. Thank you. I cannot wait to return.
Asakusa with the rain???? NOOOOOOOOOO!! YOU ARE THE BEST, thank you!!!
Looking at the map that was one heck of a walk through the rain. Always enjoy seeing the Kimonos - that's Japan to me. At the end when you panned to the right while crossing the Sumida River that was a great shot of the buildings. Great job and thanks so much for doing this for us.

Asakusa, Ueno, and Shibuya are my 3 favourite places in Japan, thanks for posting, great quality.
I love your videos, we are preparing for our first trip overseas, to Japan this October. But these provide a good insight into knowing the areas.
You can almost smell the cherry blossom. Bravo!
Can't wait to come back! Thanks for shooting the video.
Another Rainy Video. Loved it. But, take care your health :D
For some reason I love rain and this rainy videos are so relaxing to watch
First time i liked this golden "thing" on the Asahi Beer Hall! In ur video it looks great with night light, and view of Sumida river... :)
Dude, im tearing up. I havent been to Japan but this really seemed familiar. The rain, the view, especially those stalls at the beginning. The feels man.

Japan is so beautiful. Thanks for some peace of mind, bro. Love from Germany.
Merci Rambalac pour se beau voyage 😍🌟💞💖
Great video! Much better without so many people around :) Thanks for uploading this.
Great vid...soooo relaxing and well filmed!

Awesome video, so relaxing with the rain! Exactly what the doctor ordered to wind down!
Thanks for another amazing video walk. That area is fun to explore. I have a photo taken of me Standing on that stone bridge (10 yrs ago)...
I'm staying in the area next month, so this is massively helpful - thank you!
Jealous.. lol Please enjoy..
Hello, I like this walk.
In September I will be with my wife for 10 days in Asakusa View Hotel an with your help I could learn a lot already about the area around our hotel.
Hope we will see less rain.
Beautiful video! It's amazing how new the roads look. They look almost plastic.
The footage of the Golden Turd, *ahem* the Asahi Beer building, gleaming in the rain is positively inspiring.
Great video as always
As real as it can get!!
I enjoy your walks around the streets of Japan strangely hypnotic and calming, might sound strange but looks like you get a same type of rain like we do in Ireland ..light but persistent (in fact it's doing it right now 🙂) some countries it's just straight down downpours , really like your uploads
What a view, Awesome rainy walk my friend, I love Japanese peoples, they look very cute, lots of love ❤️
These rainy walk videos are so immersive- I live in LA where rain is a fairly uncommon occurrence.
Very beautiful quality , nice and smooth video, like the others on your channel ^^
I always liked very much such silent walks with the camera in different cities of the world.

Synthesis Gray Pie

Wunderschönes Video, danke 🙏👍😁.

This is where I stayed when I visited, really nice area.
Nice picture quality!!
Awesome so relaxing
Great Video!
This one was awesome!
Nice walk. Thanks.
Most of your video are amazing I felt I am in japan I save money for travel LOL
Hello Rambalac.
I am subscribed to your channel and I really enjoy your walks. I went to Japan in 2016 and will be back in May now. Can you tell me a camera with 60fps video? Not very expensive.
I know only Lumix GH5 for 4K 60fps. Some newest GoPro can do it too.
Thank you!
My first hotel in Japan was in Aakusa and the first place to visit was in this video
Use compressed air to clean the lens. The cloth makes the lens foggy.
I forgot it at home
Great video thank you
i love Ura Asakusa, when you walk past the main temple to the back street with more local people living there : ]
thanks you ! ..... japan very night ...
I love this, but my perfect video would be two hours of walking in the rain through all the darker back streets, not the shotengai or tourist stores.I lived in Osaka for three years and it reminds me so much of coming back to my apartment after a night out...
Ten years ago I was there. My brother and I stayed in a hostal near Asakusa.
As much as I watched your videos, I continue to wonder at your technical know how.
I tried to go for a walk with my phone in a gimbal recently, and the main thing I drew from watching the experience was hearing me breath. One would think I was having a heart attack.

I love ur video. Can u upload 360° video for VR?
I love going to Asakusa.
this is awesome 👍
Excelent as always. Can I ask how do you protect your camera against rain? :p
I don't protect camera. I protect only gimbal, encoder and myself with plastic bags.
I would like to see how you protect the gimbal with plastic bags :p. Any image or website I can see what you are doing?
No photo, but I use bags for wet umbrellas.
"Benimaru shinmon" is guarding this village from the infernals.... Special fire force company 7....
There's a field trip to Japan happening at my school I hope I get to go
I was your 1k like 👍🏼
Bonjour!

I need to make this place in my city building game!!!!
Yours videos combined with Lo Fi music are perfects!!! Research the LoFi style music on Spotify :D
WOW !!!
you should check out Tokyo Tower's live cam on youtube, its pretty awesome
Why? And it does not work.
Rambalac visited Tokyo Tower on Halloween night. I loved all the mall window displays, the lights, the costumes, the food, and the amazing views. Better video than live cam, because it has purpose and depth.
Why do so many people have the same transparent umbrella? Do they sell them everywhere? Are they super cheap?
Awesome Video, loved it
Yes, cheapest umbrella
are you pretty tall and hand held the camera handle? or you have it on your overhead? why the footage looked like it was from such higher level?
Well, would you prefer looking at people heads instead of street of people? I lifted camera up by purpose.
