So, I've asked my mom if she had any shoes or clothes that she wants to get rid of. She have me a boat load of designer shoes and clothes. Some still new with tags and some only worn once or twice. I forgot growing up as a kid she always had at least 40 to 50 pairs of shoes. Lol.

I learned a long time ago the hard way that dealing with family and friends can be a real problem. I like to avoid this as much as possible.
Found a guy this weekend who was selling off his inventory from a flea market that was closing. He just wanted it gone so I got a great deal! It's definitely enough to keep me busy for awhile.
I think that is the ticket just keep your brain busy and the other thoughts just go a way for a wee bit this too shall pass

I've literally gone through probably 30 boxes in the last week & probably another 10/15 before that. We already had about 40 boxes full of stuff to get rid of. I really have no idea how all this stuff was in this house. Over the last 5 years I've taken 30 packed car loads to thrift stores, had 9 rummage sales, & sold at 5 flea markets. We were trying to move a few years ago and my mom packed many boxes with random items together. She sadly passed away at the end of September. We haven't been able to take of anything since then due to the timing of everything needed & this virus.
You are correct with Instagram! Now is the time to establish an account and a following while you have a lot of people out there just sitting at home. Even expanding your existing account. Communicate and build an audience while people are looking for human interaction. That will result in loyalty and future contacts. Good Luck and you guys please stay safe and healthy!

I been buying items locally at Pawn Shops, craigslist, and Offerup. There are ways to get merchandise If you get creative.
A reality check for me is you never have “too much” product sourced to sell because something like “stores closing” is always possible. Lesson, never take product for granted

I posted something on my Facebook to my personal feed explaining a little about what i do and that if anyone had anything they wanted to sell send me pictures and id make an offer, 5 minutes later i had someone text me about 7 bags of shoes clothes i could have for free, ended up with about 150-200 of sellable stuff.....then today got another text about a friend that was cleaning out their house, got another $500-600 worth of inventory for $60!!!

No Doubt story: When No Doubt started, Gwen Stefani's dad taught at the same school as my sister. He would sweetly ask if anyone wanted an autograph and we add did. He would get her to autograph so much stuff and she sweetly complied.

We also just bought some MTG trading card booster boxes to find rares worth a lot of money and it turned out great for us!
a lot of platos closets are moving online and I managed to buy a brand new Polo Ralph Lauren Mens Suede Down Puffer Vest For $35 dollars and it retailed for over $800 and currently selling for $200+
I am not onto clothing I am waiting I am watching Ralph Roots vids and some others but they all like give me money send money not the Ralli gang as soon as I heat it I am gone on other channels.

I know this video is about 3 weeks old, but check the local thrift shops Facebook/Instagram pages. Many have set up quick websites to continue selling. We have one a couple of blocks from our house that did that. They also have email signups. This particular one helps foster kids. They sent out emails letting us know if we're looking for something to call or email them to let them know. It's worth a try. Here they can now accept limited donations. Only a couple of hours (I'm not sure how often & they've only done 1 so far).

gonna be honest. Started Ebay 4 years ago. I did OK part time. I love to source, current deathpile is a 1 car garage and a storage unit full. I did well and prefer hard goods. I sourced quite a bit of clothing, but hated listing it and the items I did list, didnt move well, so I kinda gave up. Currently I have so much unlisted inventory that I've thought about just bulk selling it away

I have so many jewelry pieces that I had picked up from 2 yrs ago. My stash, which now is a good time to put online. Only thing not everyone is into vintage jewelry. Soo thank you for the tip.
Our thrift stores will close at 5pm today in Arizona. I've been thinking of posting on Facebook and asking friends and family to let us know if they do any spring cleaning and have anything we can pick up. We will wear gloves, of course! ;)

If people run out of things to sell, they can do what you started out with. Write an Ebook. Or start a blog/vlog. Sales don't have to be physical items.

Money to be made for sure, Great Finds Got 70 Items coming my way from Ebay lots, Sniping inventory is good on the smaller platforms, Lot of people don't know what they have.
Some ppl (like me lol) also have “essential” jobs as well and no longer have as much time to sell online due to working more or a lack in childcare.

That's funny because I have a vintage "Hello Darling" Conway Twitty, one size fits all shirt for sale in my eBay store. It has some value.
We're getting alot of our sourcing through friends. People are home a lot and going through cabinets and closets.

I picked up some retail arbitrage at Walgreens the other day (some ASOTV stuff). Just need to get it listed, but I need to dig out my printer and my scale.
I started back up on reselling on ebay and pretty much already out of inventory, Hopefully I can find some merchandise soon.
New Zealand is in lockdown and only essential items are allowed to be posted, that means no online thrifting, or any kind of sales for the next 4 weeks. = no money :(
I have killed it strictly on thrifting and some garage sales church sales here and there so it is totally able to do it I just dont have the overhead you have so it works for me i just have to grind alot and work hard work my butt off but in this business it isnt work to be honest it's fun as hell like a modern day treasure hunter I love hunting I see what your saying but the thrift stores in my area are insane there everywhere and stacked to the hilton I guess I'm lucky and most the time I'll buy extra stuff and just keep stacking product so I have back up in hardships that were dealing with right now and throw up the big ticket items that will get my money back asap but I'll admit my death pile and extras are running a little low but sales have been pretty darn good to say the least anyways god bless us all and you guys take care guys love the channel :-)

Unfortunately most of them are auctions you have to wait for, but it’s a decent resource if you take the time to search.
I live in WA state, ours have been closed for about 2 1/2wks already. My hubby watches sports, goes to goodwill and hikes. Now they have shut down the hiking trails.

I'm in California and they are asking people not to do garage sales, or even do pick-ups at someone's house of items because there is a 14 day period where someone can be a carrier and not know it. Please be careful giving that advice out. We are really hurting in CA and trying to do everything to keep the spread down. Families are spreading it to each other and even young people are in ICU
The stuff I deal with, construction equipment and tools are not a bargain yet. The household junk I don't even bother with, too much work for minimal gains.

I have an eBay and a Mercari. Whatever I buy on either app, I sell on the app that I didn't buy on. Just as you said lol. Utilize the Mercari in app balance. 😉
Hey question. If you buy inventory from somebody online and it has to be shipped. Have you ever ran into a problem where they dont send or rip you off? I have only ever meet in person to view items.
So funny, you just cleaned out your closet because you have too many tees and in this video it's ooh, have to keep this one, and if this fits keeping this one. I do this with toys, plush and some dishes / glassware. And any kind of sneaker or running shoe too.

Another way to source is drive around and snag things overflowing out of the donation bins that are located in certain store parking lots, or dumpster dive near thrift stores.....yuck just kidding....Salvation Army still open for now here in Jax Fl. but they only have so much......I’m getting withdraws from lack of thrifting.....ha ha...I asked family for 10 items each to bag & leave on porch for pick up...we’ll see who actually does it. I've been sourcing at the Dollar Store and Clearance racks of Home Depot and Target. It's working for me, and sales are good with the replenishables. Those vans are 1/2 the value of what you paid. Wonder why your guy couldn't sell them?

I have an item that was shipped however the tracking shows that it was never scanned by the post office. I've reached out to the buyer and asked if he has received it. No response yet. Is there something I can do in the mean time to track this or let ebay know that its has been sent so that I do not get a mark on my account for late handling?

I’ve been sourcing online whenever I couldn’t find anything at thrift stores but now that we’re going through this pandemic I can take full advantage on it. I sell on Mercari, Poshmark and Offerup and I mainly sell sneakers and clothing but sneakers are what’s selling for me more I love it when sellers sell some of their lightly worn sneakers/clothing for a low price and I buy them and flip them for more. Enjoyed the video 🙌🔥
Please don't be one of those who buys from people like me who price things lower than most, but then try to claim "damage" and demand a HUGE discount by partial refund.
I give full refunds, so if something is really damaged, or they just change their minds, I'll give them ALL their money back, IF they return the item in original condition. I have had so many try to scam me this way. None have ever returned for full refund, but they like to leave nasty feedback even after I offered full refund.
One guy told me he couldn't return it, because he had already resold it. I found he made $80 reselling the pristine NWT Pendleton shirt he bought from me for $22, yet he claimed it had "HUGE holes" and needed a $12 refund to make it "worth his while" reselling it. I guess those "holes" disappeared when he resold it for over $100!
