First thing you should think about on Australian beaches is safety. What you cannot see is riptides where underwater currents can sweep you out to sea in minutes and where many unsuspecting tourists get into serious trouble. Most beaches at popular locations have lifeguards who section off a patrolled area ( between the flags ) where there are no riptides and where they can monitor swimmers. So enjoy our beaches young man but stay safe ( between the flags). Cheers
Great vid Sid, nice camera shots, your Mum and family will be pleased your using sunblock, WoW the tan is coming along nicely....Keep the Mo trimmed it looks good 😉 👍 nsw
Awesome vlog. Keep 'em coming. 👍 Broad brimmed hat. Caps don't protect the number one area for skin cancer. The ears. Go to bunnings and grab ya'self a hat. Most aussies save on sunscreen with loose fitting breathable fabrics. An overly large linen or hemp shirt can protect you as well as sp50+
Our best beaches are in our national parks . I hope you visit Cape Le Grand National Park near Esperance , Western Australia . They don’t look real . Tallow beach is beautiful anyway . Thank you for your lovely drone shots . Enjoy !!!
Did you use the inbuilt modes in the DJi Neo like Follow mode, Helix, Orbit and Mastershots? They are the best shots you can use when on beaches like that especially sunset on the beach
I also am terrified of ocean beaches Sid. My 15 yr olf nephew drown at Newcastle beach and i almost drowned after a rip at Newcastle/Nobbies beach took me out. Its really important to never swim alone. Loving your travels mate. BTW, your new shaven look looks great. You'll have the girls chasing you now👍
So many good beaches NEAR Byron that are not only nicer but dont charge for every single parking spot, Yamba is great and worth a look - really great. All the beaches around Port MacQuarie, particularly Flynns beach. Byron is very over hyped but I DO understand if you haven't seen the other!
In Australia, you shouldn’t think of it as ‘sun cream’. It is ‘sunscreen’ because it is serious. You should buy a bigger hat too, and have a loose, lightweight long-sleeved shirt to protect your skin. The further north you go, the stronger the sun’s effects.
Yea uuummmm Sharks. Well, the chances of you being bitten are a bit higher than killed. (Better chance of killed around Perth area) The upside is at 8:20 you can see the shark net (bait) out in the water for your safety ;) If you look at a map of Australia ( Dont look at a map of Tassie) Anyway you will see Byron is the most easterly point of Australia and juts out into the ocean the furthest. So that means any sharks close to land swimming north will hit Tallow beach. That is where they will be the closest and the most concentration of sharks swimming past. Byron has the most shark attacks. Been surfing at Clarks beach with easy 20 small sharks swimming around under the water you could see. Best beach there is Little Wategos but it is NSFW ;) Well guess it is still as I have not been there since 84.
go to Woolworths or Coles they have a good fresh bakery section. Aldi is slightly more posh and has half the brands, Byron is shit too, come to Bondi, Maroubra you can come stay at mine too if youre really down and out. Byron is too pretentious for the kind of people you'd wanna meet.

Tip: Apply sunblock 50+ before leaving the house. Regularly reapply throughout the day. The UV rays in Australia are brutal.

Nice to see Tallow beach again, haven't been there since the late seventies. Glad it still looks the same, just as wide and open.
Loving the vlogs!

Good to see you are a Red !
The NSW Government has shark nets on 51 beaches along its coast. It plans to remove them at the end of the swimming season in March.
Hardly a secret!
keep the moustache

Too cold to swim there

Wind from the Indian Ocean whips sand in your face on beaches in WA.
Best beaches in Australia are around Esperance….
They certainly are absolutely amazing with that white sand and turquoise sea.
Bit of a drive from over East though. I know. We did it in August.
