Sid, your videos are fantastic. It's a lot of work to make content and it is really impressive that you've been doing it EVERY day while travelling. That's a massive accomplishment that I reckon you should acknowledge for yourself. I hope you've enjoyed Queensland (my home) and go on to more sick adventures.

Sid mate, we don't get hurricanes here in Australia. We get cyclones, they are mental. Did one of your younger relative's just join Tottenham Hotspurs? I felt this as well, staying in hostels, meeting people... it's fun! The best! But not something I see myself doing for months & months on end. Some of us like to go back to our routines.

Skip Fiji but visit Tasmania and South Australia instead then travel to WA. In the past I lived overseas for years and for much of that time I was alone and yes missing home, friends and family is a real thing and keeping in regular contact is very important. But try to find something you in enjoy in your new city helps. Myself absolutely love rail and transport stuff so finding someone related to that created a welcome distraction. Also in Melbourne give yourself a few days in a good hotel to relax in your own space.

Yes! Travel can be exhausting! I can only be away for three nights maximum and the first day, I sleep in for most of the day. Hope you enjoy Melbourne. I'm in Melbourne and I'm told we're very friendly here. To be honest, a lot of us are still recovering from the longest lockdowns in the world. But I would recommend catching a train from Melbourne to Bendigo for the Bendigo Art Galley and a train to Ballarat for Sovereign Hill. But first, have a few sleep ins and relax and enjoy your birthday!

It's quite normal for travellers to suddenly have periods of homesickness when they are on the go for so long. Plus the extreme wet weather can be depressing and the tiredness all builds up. Take some time out for yourself.
