Lo was doing a great job controlling the top leg of Barral in the last few minutes. Barral knew if he tried to come up to his right, Lo would use that grip to shut it down. Same reason why Lo kept his base to Barral’s right side.
Com todo respeito a eles que são faixa preta ,mas tem hora que a luta dos faixa preta ficam chatas demais ninguém ataca não tentam finalizar amarrar a luta por quase 10 minutos só porque fez 2 pontos ,eu prefiro perder a luta tentando finalizar do que amarrar a luta por pontos.

this is the part of modern bjj that annoys me - people want to be entertained and can't even appreciate the game of inches that's being played here. at the highest level there is no margin for error and people just see stalling. Yeah lo is on the defense being up in points, but i wish more people could appreciate how damn hard it is to progress from both positions.
@@TevionErazer chess is very interesting, obviously if you're good at chess yourself. it certainly doesn't lack viewership. but in bjj, similarly to chess, it's actually the top level matches that can be a bit dull. speaking of chess, the mistakes at this level are very subtle (so an average player can't comprehend the back and forth anyway, at least not without professional commentary), and many games are draws, or run very close to draws and are decided only by some blunder committed in the endgame once both players are exhausted already. that's why when i'm watching bjj competition, i often prefer to watch blue and purple belts go at it, or juniors etc., there's often much more going on, they is a lot of inaccuracies so you get interesting scrambles, whereas two seasoned black belts can be stuck in one position trying to provoke miniscule errors and game the points system.

Interessante saber como o Ló conquistou os seus 2 pontos, ele estava de bumbum no chão para fazer a guarda e derrepente dali mesmo ele agarrou as 2 pernas do Rômulo (doublo leg) e derrubou-o no chão caracterizando a queda! Muito bom! Oss

Respect to both competitors,but i have to say BJJ i heading to the wrong direction with this Point system.ITs totally a sport and now,gonna be like Judo...in the near future. Actually more Judo throws are allowed in BJJ rather than Judo today.My guess is that submisions gonna be a rare sight in competitions. Most champions gonna be chams without TAPing anyone,only advantages and points. The TAP orientation of BJJ,that distinguished it from Judo,will seize to exist in the next years

I've seen more exciting matches between two guys on their first day in BJJ class. Probably not more technical, but definitely more variety and more exciting... And this is for guys who know just 2 or 3 moves taught in the previous 2 hours... Damn.

O Rômulo praticamente aceitou o vice-campeonato após a raspagem.. Nunca vi tanta falta de vontade. O Lô é monstro, mas, o Rômulo se entregou, ficou a luta toda caçando a mesma coisa que não estava dando certo desde o início. Pô, muda o disco, é final caralho..
