I have been getting allergy/sinus related earaches lately and a friend told me a good trick. Put some corse sea salt or kosher salt in a clean cotton sock and heat it up in the microwave. Use as a warm compress on the ear to help it drain. It really works well.
Congrats on finishing your sweater, I hope that gives you some more space for other things in your life. Your Christmas cup at the beginning is so cute and reminds me of all the Christmas decorations my grandmother use to have at her house.
Glad your working on your sweater. I finally finished a pair of socks I started 3 years ago, my first attempt at creating my own pattern. I don't think I'll make them again. My favorite is the can I hug her colorway.
I love that cup you got . It’s sooo cute ! Right now it’s freezing outside, a storm with small snowflakes came up and I am all cosy with a fire in the oven, starting weekend with your vlog while knitting on my advent socks using the morning coffee pattern for one of the pairs. ☕️🍪
Love your Christmas stockings. Where can I get the patterns? You did a great job! Looks like you are coming along great on your new area! Happy for you!
I commented but it disappeared! I have no internet so I’m on my phone using cell data for two days…not happy! Loves this little short look into your life. Thank you.
So enjoyed day 2 of vlogmas. It’s so fun to see the 4 socks with the Cozy Knitter advent yarn taking shape plus it blows my mind as I continue to feel overwhelmed when I attempt 2 at a time. Congrats on finishing your sweater.
Such beautiful yarn and colors. You are such a great knitter!!! Love the style and colors. Thank you for sharing. You can teach an old dog new tricks. ❤🌲❤🌲🐑🐑🐑
I'm drooling over your advents! Glad you got to knit with your group, and that Austin is feeling better despite being such a man about being sick. As always, I love the glimpse into your day. ETA OMG! I just got an invite to the Yarnable subscription and was able to subscribe! Thank you so much for promoting it and providing the link where I signed up for the wait list. I can't wait to get my first box!
Oh my....the dogs have my ❤!....if I could only reach through the screen...lol...I started a fingering weight sock hat while watching...so enjoyed it...!..thank you
I love your vlogs. They always remind to me move at MY pace. That there is no race going on out there that I need to keep up with. Wishing you a very successful open house and hope I get to come to one of those. So glad that Austin only has a normal illness and not a deadly illness 😂
I love your pets and I’m going to say it again. I would like to see some coats made for dogs. Also, I am excited about your idea to make an Aran sweater starting in January. I have always wanted to do that so now I have motivation to get going on that project. Sorry I don’t have any Christmas themed comments. Never have done an advent sock theme. Maybe next year.
Dexter is adorable but what about the other puppy? Who is that? I think I’ve seen a cute black cat, too. You have quite a lovely family….fur babies included! Thanks for the vlogs. Peace, my friend….
Hey Kay! Cute video. I know that Dexter is the black and white puppy. But who are the other 2 dogs? I missed mention of them and the little gold one is sure a cutie!
Allergies in the late fall/winter? What is he allergic to if you don’t mind me asking. I’m grateful not to have them but my husband suffers with allergies in the spring/summer so I know how annoying it can be!
Yep, you can have allergies year round. Leaves are still falling here which always makes are allergies act up. My boys and I are allergic to quite a few things including some of our animals.
@@CrazySockLady ugh that stinks to be allergic to family members! 😹 I guess my husband should be grateful he’s only suffering a few months of the year! Did you ever have any official testing for you and your boys or did you just figure it out based on when they act up?
I haven’t had testing but my boys have both had testing done. Mine has been trial and error. 🤣 Knowing that if I touch the cats, or they sleep on my bed.. I’m going to be a mess. And then just realizing when certain things are in bloom etc, I’ll have issues. But both boys have had allergy testing by allergists.
@@CrazySockLady I’m thinking about taking my 3 and 4 year olds. They are the sneeziest kids I’ve ever met. Plus my daughter has eczema which she definitely got from me but maybe caused by an allergen. By the way, you must be much older than you look to have children their age! I mean that in the nicest way! (I know people including myself get funny about age, I’m turning 40 next month) obviously people have kids young sometimes but I’m thinking in your situation you just look crazy young! (Again meant to be a compliment 😆)
I’m proud of my self. I knit an entire sock in 10 hours.

I tried a hair blow dryer last time I had fluid It worked

It reminds me of my Grandmother as well! ☺️
I adore the Homespun House dyeing aesthetic. Loving that advent so far!
Me too!!!

The regular/deadly illness still has me laughing 🤣
I absolutely love these short little looks into your life, Kay. It’s a great way to start off my day. Love the vlog.
Love seeing all of your advent! And I have to agree teen mom is my guilty pleasure that I can stop my watching.. as my husband rolls his eyes lol

Dexter looks so cute snuggling up to you on the sofa!!

Thank you for sharing!!! Such fun
Excited to see the sweater completed! Wish I had half your energy. Will you be filming any of the open studio on Saturday?
If time allows. I’m really not sure what to expect!
Hey Kay! Cute video. I know that Dexter is the black and white puppy. But who are the other 2 dogs? I missed mention of them and the little gold one is sure a cutie!
I've talked about them in previous videos, they are older and we have had them for years. Chloe & Gracie. :)
Sweet Dogs!,!

Stocking patterns are by Ursula Almeida.
Your dogs are so cute together!
Hello from Mounds Illinois!
can you pls explain your advent calendar, did you put the yarn in it? where do you buy one empty? or do you buy it like this? goodluck tomorrow
They come like this from the yarn dyers listed. :)
What are the 4 little socks peeks you are making? I might have missed that info.
Cozy Knitter Advent. I think I talked about it in day 1 of Vlogmas. :)
I love these videos 💕
What’s the name of the pattern of your Christmas stockings that are in the thumbnail I really wanna knit them for next year
They are by Ursula Almeida. I have project pages for them on Ravelry with the pattern info for each. :)
@@CrazySockLady thank you so much I’m definitely gonna make these for next year
