I know the former owner of this boat. We buddy boated with them for three years in Mexico before we headed off for the South Pacific. Thanks for brining back the memories.
@@talesofgraybeard7964 indeed.... I know many of the stories of this boat... we sailed from Seattle to Mexico with them. I was there when the new yanmar was installed. The former owners were great people with a big dream that was unfulfilled with this boat. I hope in the future the the boat fulfills some of those dreams.
Mitch: SV Fellowship, Hull no. 119, if I am right, was featured on TH-cam in your Tales of Greybeard. Her subsequent owners must have loved and cared for her as much as I did. I always felt safe in her and she is looking great! Thanks for bringing back some past voyaging memories. Charles Gordanier Owner/Operator, SV Sentinel 2004-09
Hello Charles. Good to hear from you. I was certainly impressed on how well taken care of she was. A beautiful boat. Robert Perry saw the video and thought that it represented the Valiant very well. That was a big thrill for me!
Great boat, love the V42 layout! Reducing maintenance by minimal Teak on the deck and a fairly new engine really adds value to this boat. Anyone would be proud to own it.
Bob Perry has a GREAT portfolio, I'd say that he and Bill Crealock are probably the two best classic cruising yacht designers of all time, maybe Ives could be included in that group, just my opinion. Perry is a great naval architect.
Grt vid. Thank u. It's an absolute gem. T layout, ive never seen a berth like this one has at t back.

Thanks for sharing, SV.Scintilla. It just goes to show how small our little planet is. I really enjoyed touring this boat. It's one of my favorites.
