Message from Professor Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, the 2012 Kyoto Prize laureate in Arts and Philosophy. (Rec Nov. 11, 2012)
and the sky, she said, is blue, in a solemn reflective tone.
She has made me think anew.
I appreciate Spivak's scholarly perspective on the perpetuation of systemic inequities in education and more broadly in society.
This is a valuable piece of advice that as educators, we have to follow, respect, and practice. Thank you so much ma'am. 🙏
