  • Lorene Lee has been living with ALS since 2010. Over the years, she has learned to adapt to the constant changes in her ability to move and communicate with the help of her beloved husband, Tony. She credits their love as the reason she smiles every day with her whole heart.
Lorene uses a speech-generating device, which she operates by using her eyes to type out words one letter at a time. Since 2010, Lorene and her loved ones are a big part of many of the ALS Network's Walk & Roll to Cure ALS events to raise awareness and support for our ALS community and to advance the search for effective prevention strategies, treatments, and cures.
Watch this video as Lorene describes how ALS impacted her ability to do things on her own and shares her own thoughts about the importance of love.
