Kevin, I hope you both have a wonderful cruise. I'm hooked on cruising, and if I could afford it, I'd do two cruises a year. However, when you're 1400 miles from the nearest ocean, the cost of getting to a cruise port is a bit pricey.
Hi Kevin, I don't know if you remember me but I was the young lady who asked for a picture with you in October, thank you for making my first MCM really memorable
As someone thats worked for a cruise line before and gone on quite a few as passenger they are amazing holidays to go on. Hope you all have an amazing time.
Not sure how it works in the UK but Novotel is the best of the three options around that car-park if it were in Aus. Ibis and Ibis Styles are the budget Accor hotel brands. Novotel is much better and the rooms are much bigger. I'd suggest you got a great deal on the room!
Hope you have an amazing time, pick up some Canada Dry Ginger Ale to drink to help with seasickness, and travel bands on the wrists help. Plus you can get little seasickness tablets on the ship if it gets choppy out there 🎉😊
The hotel opposite you is the Ibis Budget. I’ve stayed there before a cruise and it wasn’t good. Room was overlooking the McDonald’s drive-in which you heard people beeping their horns all night. Didn’t even get a kettle to make a cup of tea. Always use Premier Inn next to West Quay shopping centre now. More expensive but you know what you get with Premier Inn. Enjoy your cruise.
@kevinchapman 8:37 the Ibis are not nicer then nova trust me you got Ibis Budget the Ibis there then Niva they go up n standard in that order also with Niva being best of the 3
If this trip goes well you should definitely look into Disney cruises! They are expensive (especially the ones that leave from the UK), but well worth it and I'm sure you would both really enjoy it!
Ginger biscuits and ginger tea at the ready and ask your doctor for anti sickness tablets aweek before your cruise in future so if you go and do get seasick you can take a tablet to help relief the feeling/symptoms and have rehydration sachets at the ready too just incase to mix in your water to rebalance your electrolytes during sickness episodes so you don’t dehydrate
When you went into the toilet first I thought that was it for a minute, not even a sink! I was thinking if this is the executive upgrade... There must be a bucket supplied for a standard room 😂
That sounds really clickable! Was the thumbnail not a giveaway? And the title saying we’re going on our first cruise? And the first 10 minutes that were about the cruise?
@@MoreKevinChapman only have a laugh dude !! Looking forward to “the cruise” video as it’s actually one of the short cruises I’ve been looking at doing
How did you not visit the Lego store!? It's just down from the food hall 😩 lol

Quick route in to West Quay… through John Lewis from the entrance on the roundabout.

So great to see another video!
Just noticed you are on Ventura by the looks of it on marine traffic. Do have a great time. P&O are a decent cruise line and affordable

Watching with interest as I am keen to try a cruise too at some point. And yes it’s definitely an age thing! 😂
Great video. Have fun on the cruise guys 🥰
I will be in Amsterdam on Thursday and I will wave from the office when you float by to the cruise terminal 😀

It was the cheapest of the 3!

They seem very expensive. We’ve got our eyes on a northern lights one this time next year
Have fun here in the netherlands Kevin and Anna 😊!!
Hope there are bunch of vlogs of this trip!!!

Love this vids Kev keep going!

Please make the cruise videos very long! ❤
Hey Kev, love that first opening line 😂 I would like to see you go to IKEA just saying
I promised myself I never would. For no particular reason other than I never have
@@MoreKevinChapman I think first time videos would be fun to watch lol
what did ikea do
Yes! First video back!!!! And I’m first ❤❤❤❤ love the videos man keep it up
Hope you enjoy it, but surely you paid an extra night in the kennels for Dave.
How is Andy getting on
This is the first (and only) time in my life I'll ever ask a grown man this, but where is the blue Ellesse hoody from?! It's glorious
I think I got it from Jacamo a year or so back.
@@MoreKevinChapman You're a hero, and a handsome one at that
So close to my work lol
Why is Ikea on the no no list? Feels like there might be a story here
Somebody's most probably told you about this but all them hotels are owned by the same company called accor
Where’s the cruise lol !? Should have titled the video “Staying In Southampton Before Our First EVER Cruise”

Cruise... hugh. I don't enjoy them at all. I've been to three, they kinda suck for me.
Why did it take you 3 attempts to realise you don’t like them? Stop going! 😂
