It is getting closer, still work to do to ensure it makes as much Spectrum memory is available for your game as possible. There is a Patreon, subscribers get early access

@indigobeetle will check it out. I did try mpagc but unfortunately it has some critical bugs that have crept in. So I was positively surprised to find this being developed. I'm guessing this will become a multiplatform engine export/dev tool eventually?
@@illustrated1981 It has been engineered from the outset to support multiple target platforms, while there are necessarily some specific tools and limitations in the current setup for the Spectrum, the tooling is "pluggable" and extendable. The plan is to be able to choose at the start of a project what your target platform is, and the toolset adapts to suit that platform. There are no plans to support Unity/Godot-like single source, multiple target development, because the differences between, for example, a Spectrum and a C64 are so great that a single source is not going to be feasible, so you'll have to choose up front. Having said that, many of the elements of Kwyll will be common across platforms, and there is already a feature to import parts from other projects, so that will help.
