"What" is still in my top 3 favorite title tracks. It's heavy for a Korean release and I love the syncopation in the second half of the chorus. Story-wise this is the first time they wear non-uniform outfits, which I believe is because they lost Yoohyeon (or at least her spirit) and are kind of broken. You can also see them search for her alone, not as a group. For me this is a song about the loss of a loved one and what that does to a group or family. "Piri" is the last part of the Nightmare Arc (their Japanese release "Breaking out" can be seen as an alternative ending). In "What", the girls have been searching for Yoohyeon, and here they find each other again, but in the end they are all stuck in the white dimension. A Piri is a Korean flute that was used historically to signal danger, and that is what Yoohyeon does here when the members arrive. She is the one capturing them one by one, to rescue them and bring them to safety. They are together in the end, but still stuck. Dreamcatcher don't do happy endings. 😉 "Endless Night" is about their experience as Minx and how happy they are being Dreamcatcher. Siyeon for example couldn't watch music shows without crying while they thought they would get disbanded. And their self-made MVs are hilarious. They take the lyrics literally here. 😉
I actually didnt like What on the first listen, I remember thinking that sounded too noise? But after I listened to it a few more times it really became one of my favs.
What is such a great song! Also story-wise that non-uniform outfits, was something I didn't make a connection with! I noticed they were in different uniforms and I thought it was a time jump or in the "future" never thought of the loss connection. I really like that, makes the song that much better! I also love the self-made MVs! 😊

Siyeon said she was in a rock band from her second year of middle school through her second year of high school, so it's kinda beautiful she ended right back in the genre she belongs in with that voice 🤘🏾
The answer is a YES. You can rewatch but instead of the regular MVs you could watch the dance videos. At the end all their mvs are awesome, like NO MORE, BREAKING OUT, etc. Continue rocking and enjoying with Dreamcatcher 🤘🤘 bye.
Scream was my first exposure to dreamcatcher, but Sahara self made mv was what drew me in and made me check out more. I was like oh these girls are hilarious and that song was stuck in my head for so long.
Thanks for the video. "What" is probably my favorite title track. It's also very underappreciated. By Dc and even by InSomnias. For their 2 day Dystopia concert, they performed all their title tracks except "What". Since then, whenever I see it mention I say "JusticForWhat" lol. DC has actually started performing it again in their concerts, so that's nice. A special fact about "PIRI", the whistle you hear throughout is sampled from KSHMR. Some people have claimed it was stolen from Soulja Boy, who also uses the sample. "Endless Night" was definitely their hardest rock song for a while. I love the choreo for it. They have a dance practice for it that's so nice. Only wish that HanDong was in it. "SAHARA" self MV is so funny. They actually act out the lyrics which is so funny. Will you be reacting to the OT7 version with HanDong?
thank you for watching! I do like What a lot for a while it was definitely a top 5 for me! That Endless Night choreo is just sooo good! I do have the OT7 version on my new list I have started!! 🥰
The Piri era was so good, the live performances are fantastic (visuals, dance, vocals). My "metalu heart" is always happy to watch Endless Night (and JiU is absolutly gorgeous). Sahara shows their creativity. You should search for the drama copy they also made themselves ( dreamcatcher kdrama on YT). Don't worry we wathed the videos so many times already, it's like watching them again with a new friend, always a pleasure.
please do watch the videos again, honestly they hit different when you become an insomnia rather than just discovering them. their self made mv's are quite possibly my favorites from them, they're so unserious 😂
So as far as I understand for the ending of Nightmare, in What they struggle to break Yoohyeon out of the dreamworld. They are separated as a group, grieving for their friend, and they seem to be trapped in the same realm on Piri, experiencing the nightmares again. They reunite in the end but cannot escape. Breaking Out (Japanese song) is their alternative ending to the Nightmare series. As you saw in Endless Night, their Japanese releases are very heavy which is badass. You’ll definitely have fun reacting to those. Of course we don’t mind watching Dreamcatcher MVs again (we’re here doing it with you already haha). Sahara is hilarious, some of the other self mades don’t have captions so I recommend either reading the lyrics first or having the lyrics next to the video (if you’re able to watch and read at the same time too lol, I know it’d be hard with Deukae). As always, thanks for the reactions, I’m glad you’re enjoying your journey!!
I love that their MV's have a story that links them together! Just works soooo well!!! I'm hoping since Endless Night didn't get me blocked the other ones will be safe 🤣! I was second guessing myself with the MV rewatch, as I knew many watched the two discovery videos and didn't think anyone would want to watch them again with me 🥺
@@roguereacts japonese releases should be fine. you should only really worry about live stages bc it’s the tv networks that are annoying. variety content should be fine too I believe!
So I've read this interpretation somewhere and i thought it was intresting : It started with Fly high where yoohyeon burned the spider , then in "You and I " the spider came back for revenge and took yoohyeon so the girls tried to resurrect her with that spell but then in "what " yoohyeon showed a different side of her and jiu knew at the end that the soul they resurrected wasn't yoohyeon's ,so in "pirri " they all went to the other world searching for the real yoohyeon , in the start of the MV u can see that yoohyeon was the first one to be seen there which could mean that she was the first one who has arrived tho at the end of pirri none of the girls could escape that place and they all became ghosts , which takes us to "chase me" and "good night " where a ghost hunter tries to hunt them down but he fails and gets trapped instead .
Yes, 'What' is the continuation of the Nightmare storyline after 'You And I'. 'Piri' is the last of the Nightmare siries...in the Korean Language and on Happyface Entertainment's YT channel. There is a Japanese Language MV on the channel called Pony Canyon, the same place you found 'Endless Night'. The song 'Breaking Out is said to be the 'true ending' to the Nightmare series (and I believe it, personally). 'Endless Night was filmed months after Piri and even after 'Breaking Out'. 'Endless Night' was around the 'Scream' era, you can tell by JiU's Purple hair and Yoohyeon's Blonde hair. I never knew which MV was filmed first between 'Scream' and 'Endless Night' but I do know they traveled to Japan to shoot the MV for 'Endless Night'.
Technically "Breaking Out" is the last MV in the Nightmare arc on the album 'The Beginning of the End'. It's the TT on their first Japanese album which was released like a week or 2 before "Deja Vu" 's album 'Raid of Dream' . Should be safe to react to, as I rarely see it blocked. The album also has 2 new songs in Japanese as well, "I Miss You" & "My Way". "I Miss You" does have choreo and dance practice, they also have redone it in Korean for one of their Korean concerts.
oooo nice! I'm just always leary when it comes to Japanese releases as they often get blocked on YT. Good to know that many of you have seen others do them and not get a slap on the wrist 🤣
Yes, What is after You and I in the Nightmare storyline. And yes to their being in the metaphorical snow globe. The running gag for Dreamcatcher mvs in the Nightmare era (and Deja Vu, which is a standalone,) is "What did Yoohyeon do?" There is a special connection/dyad between Jiu and Yoohyeon throughout this time. The official end to the Nightmare storyline in Piri seems to be that they can't get Yooheyon out, so they all decide to be together in the Nightmare realm. The Japanese release Breaking Out is the alternate ending - or perhaps after Piri, not really sure.

Breaking out is technically the last of the nightmare as it’s an alternate ending. It was their first Japanese so back and the album “beginning of the end” had 2 other original Japanese tracks and Japanese versions of titles and b-sides from the nightmare era. Sahara- for self made mvs they take the lyrics literally and act them out. Endless night was the second Japanese comeback and hits harder then the first comeback. Piri.. short hair Dami and blonde Siyeon be my death. I love that choreography. It is still my favorite title. Yoohyeon was still trapped in the other real so the others went into to get her, but ended up getting stuck again.
I definitely think it would be best to rewatch so you get a feeling of the whole era! Sahara is part of scream era tho Piri is the end of the nightmare era BUT breaking out is the alternate happy ending so i definitely recommend checking it out to finish off the era! At the end of piri they didn't escape the nightmare, they are stuck in a loop of nightmares but in the end found each other to face the nightmares together I recommend the dance practice for endless night too, the choreo is insane!
Breaking Out is the actual end to the Nightmare series. Since it's a Japanese release this isn't as widely known, but in the making of Breaking Out Sua literally says they are filming the last music video of the Nightmare series, so I believe Sua. ^_^
Continues to elaborate on their nightmare (some of it is just my own interpretation) : 2:41 : this is the first callback to You and I where yoohyeon is lying in the magic platform in you and i 3:23 Yoohyeon falls in the bed is a callback to the You and I Spinning Top on the Floor scene where it is also flipped upside down 3:40 Handong is hiding inside the closet because she kept feeling the stares from the spider queen at her, the distorted screen here at 7:53 just reminds Handong about her fear... and the watch is a callback to Handong, Dami and Jiu's moment in Good night, before they steal the book of nightmare from the man, there is a glass clock case behind them. 4:30 if you notice the expressions, you will likely to know that this is Yoohyeon Evil Doppelganger as she is still trapped in between worlds ( that is the major cause of her fear, lost between worlds ) 5:42 the crystal glass ball / snow globe is another callback to Dami's scene where she breaks free from the glass case in You and I 6:12 well, in correlation with the spider, in Fly High the opening scene is Yoohyeon with butterflies around her which depicted her as the queen of butterflies, and Spider's favorite food is the butterfly since generally spider is a predator for butterflies, which is also might be the reason why Yoohyeon kills the spider that Jiu catch in fly high too 6:34 see Yoohyeon's expression, she feels lost... and Piri is just half of the ending for me, since the cause of Siyeon's fear is not explained here but in Breaking Out where they escaped the nightmare. 7:32 Dami represents agliophobia or Oulinophobia, which is the fear of feeling physical and emotional pain and here is her hand trying to reach for help from Siyeon, the room might be cramped with Dami and the Doppleganger, which makes her fear comes up and left her - Siyeon's fear is fully shown in Breaking Out ( the title album is the beginning of the end, and piri's album is the end of nightmare, cleverly hidden right? ), siyeon regrets not helping Dami at 9:27 (my own version of the story), at 9:03 Dami pain's started to build up amidst the confusion in that world because of Siyeon's action, this is the beginning 9:14 Dami was dragged by the evil doppelganger, what happens in that room, is what makes her fear comes 9:51 ... remember at 8:18 " i've had a gun for a while " and at 8:28 "Uh,well, time will fix it right?" Dami says these... 8:19 Gahyeon got goosebumps as she remembers when the evil hand close her eyes in Good Night, and now shuts her mouth to scream for help... 8:47 another callback to Good Night, the doll is like Sua's condition, mostly sitting and can't move their body except for the head, just like Sua's body was once restrained... 9:58 callback to Jiu's seeing her doppelganger at Fly High 10:01 For me this is the first time Yoohyeon sees her physical doppelganger, before this the doppelganger hasn't got a physical form and just a spirit form...
omg this interpretation is amazing! I had another tab open and was watching those points as I read along! Absolutely love it and it fits right on point! 😊
If you like Sahara I cannot wait for you to watch their drama parody World of Dreamcatcher. It’s absolutely hysterical. I just love how they combine being absolute goofballs, creative by creating clever imagery with the lyrics and also just absolutely slaying and looking gorgeous. As far as I know, they divided Nightmare arc to two parts, first one is from Chase me to You and I (the old(medival) nightmare) and second one is from What to Piri(Breaking Out)(the mordern nightmare) Fly High>>>Chase Me>Good Night>You and I>>>>What>Piri is the flow of events in Nightmare arc storyline.
I'm not sure if you intended to watch the Japanese track that was a part of the Nightmare Series, but that was actually "Breaking Out". But "Endless Night" is amazing, absolutely no complaints!
@Rogue Reacts oh, yes, well, "Piri" was the end, which was, as per usual with DC, a sad ending lol, and then "Breaking Out" was the alternative happy ending to the series.
If you likes Endless Night you will love No More. Probably their hardest song, its just a metal song at this point, they even have Pontus Norgen ( from Hammerfall ) shredding the guitars on the track. A BANGER to say the least.
That's amazing!!! I hope to get to No More 😊 I'm hearing the Japanese release could be okay over here since they are no longer with the same Japanese company... we shall see!
There is one more nightmare song. It's a Japanese release and, as Winston Churchill once said, a lie can make it halfway around the world before truth has got it's boots on. I'm tired of trying to catch the lie so I'm giving up. You'll probably come across it eventually and think, 'hey, isn't that one of the nightmare series?' I'll let it be a surprise.
To the question you ask YES! Now that you know the members a little better, and the girls and their MV's liked to see what you think of the video now. You might even pick up on things in the storyline you didint originally. What is one of my fav TT, and in my oppinion the song where Siyeon really got into that vocal range for rock heavy songs. I think You and I she was already starting to get more comftoable with her voice and the power starts to come through but What is when she's done with that transformation. From here on out her voice just shines with rock instrumentals in my oppinion. She always had a great voice but like she grew into her voice. Also Handongs orage hair... iconic lol (im pretty sure she said in an interview she hated that color) As for Piri, Siyeon with the blonde hair... done for. The confidence skyrockets and she has us all hanging by a thread lol Also Piri is where Gahyeon has her first rap and whoever had that idea we love you, Gahyeon suits raping so much she has the charisma for it. Her faicial expresions are on another level. If im not mistaken Piri is also the era the nickname "Prince Dami" came from.
I have added the MVs to the master list! I agree now that I won't be like "who's that?!" every two second it will be interesting to see the MVs now knowing them better! Siyeon was born for rock!! Her voice fits it so well! And her blonde hair is deadly like daaaaamn! gotta love Prince Dami! 🥺
Fun facts: If you play the WHAT hook in reverse, they all shout HELP HELP HELP HELP SuA had a ganglion cyst in her wrist while promoting SCREAM and filming SAHARA and it was so painful that she had it removed surgically mid-promotions and she wore a wrist cast in the later part of promotions.
I will watch Dreamcatcher content no matter how many times you post it, but I'm a hardcore InSomnia so I don't know about anyone else. Dreamcatcher ended their contract with Ponycanyon, their Japanese agency, quite some time ago so there shouldn't be any problem with copyright.
My answer to your question is: no. I mean, I certainly wouldn't mind if you did rewatch the mv's, but I would recommend watching a different version of the songs instead: dance practice, performance vid, live stage vid, etc. Breaking Out is a Japanese title track that is an alternate ending to the Nightmare series. Piri = found each other but suffer together. Breaking Out = found each other and breaking out together / overcome their nightmares.
To answer the question at the start, absolutely yes. No InSomnia will say no to rewatching a Dreamcatcher MV 😂

Yes I agree! I added it to the master list! 😊
Breaking Out is the actual end to the Nightmare series. Since it's a Japanese release this isn't as widely known, but in the making of Breaking Out Sua literally says they are filming the last music video of the Nightmare series, so I believe Sua. ^_^
I would believe Sua as well! I think it'll be safe over here so I plan to watch it! 😊
@@roguereacts Yeah, I've never seen anyone having a problem with Dreamcatcher's Japanese releases so it should be safe!
@@SannaKore awesome!! Might have to adjust my master list 🤣
The self mades are the best 😂😂
It was wild and I loved every minute!
"Breaking Out" is the last song of the Nightmare serie (or an alternate ending).
I'm hoping to get to that one!!! 😊
Continues to elaborate on their nightmare (some of it is just my own interpretation) :
2:41 : this is the first callback to You and I where yoohyeon is lying in the magic platform in you and i
3:23 Yoohyeon falls in the bed is a callback to the You and I Spinning Top on the Floor scene where it is also flipped upside down
3:40 Handong is hiding inside the closet because she kept feeling the stares from the spider queen at her, the distorted screen here at 7:53 just reminds Handong about her fear... and the watch is a callback to Handong, Dami and Jiu's moment in Good night, before they steal the book of nightmare from the man, there is a glass clock case behind them.
4:30 if you notice the expressions, you will likely to know that this is Yoohyeon Evil Doppelganger as she is still trapped in between worlds ( that is the major cause of her fear, lost between worlds )
5:42 the crystal glass ball / snow globe is another callback to Dami's scene where she breaks free from the glass case in You and I
6:12 well, in correlation with the spider, in Fly High the opening scene is Yoohyeon with butterflies around her which depicted her as the queen of butterflies, and Spider's favorite food is the butterfly since generally spider is a predator for butterflies, which is also might be the reason why Yoohyeon kills the spider that Jiu catch in fly high too
6:34 see Yoohyeon's expression, she feels lost... and Piri is just half of the ending for me, since the cause of Siyeon's fear is not explained here but in Breaking Out where they escaped the nightmare.
9:58 callback to Jiu's seeing her doppelganger at Fly High
10:01 For me this is the first time Yoohyeon sees her physical doppelganger, before this the doppelganger hasn't got a physical form and just a spirit form...
omg this interpretation is amazing!
No one does it like them 🥰 Also warning for their self made MV for Poison Love 🤣
I can’t wait!! I have it on my Patreon list!! ☺️

As far as I know, they divided Nightmare arc to two parts, first one is from Chase me to You and I (the old(medival) nightmare) and second one is from What to Piri(Breaking Out)(the mordern nightmare)
Fly High>>>Chase Me>Good Night>You and I>>>>What>Piri is the flow of events in Nightmare arc storyline.
hmnmm interesting! It does make sense though 🤔
Dreamcatcher !!!
I just love them!
I'm not sure if you intended to watch the Japanese track that was a part of the Nightmare Series, but that was actually "Breaking Out". But "Endless Night" is amazing, absolutely no complaints!
I didn't realize Breaking Out was the "end" of the series, I'll be adding it to the list to watch!
@Rogue Reacts oh, yes, well, "Piri" was the end, which was, as per usual with DC, a sad ending lol, and then "Breaking Out" was the alternative happy ending to the series.
@@janays3550 love me a good happy ending!
she does something to my heart ,
can't explain it in words ? .
she is a Legendary Dreamcatcher
If you likes Endless Night you will love No More. Probably their hardest song, its just a metal song at this point, they even have Pontus Norgen ( from Hammerfall ) shredding the guitars on the track. A BANGER to say the least.
I did not know that was him! That's AWESOME! I knew that whoever it was, they SHOULD be famous for how great the guitar was. Thank you for this! :)
That's amazing!!! I hope to get to No More 😊 I'm hearing the Japanese release could be okay over here since they are no longer with the same Japanese company... we shall see!
@@roguereacts That would be cool if I am proven wrong about that. Let's hope! :)
Deamcatcher and Mamamoo are similar in one way, they put out some amazing content and they don't take themselves too seriously, they have fun.
I think that’s why I’m loving both of them so much!! 🥰
There is one more nightmare song. It's a Japanese release and, as Winston Churchill once said, a lie can make it halfway around the world before truth has got it's boots on. I'm tired of trying to catch the lie so I'm giving up. You'll probably come across it eventually and think, 'hey, isn't that one of the nightmare series?' I'll let it be a surprise.
awesome! I can't wait!!!! 😊
Also Handongs orage hair... iconic lol (im pretty sure she said in an interview she hated that color)
As for Piri, Siyeon with the blonde hair... done for. The confidence skyrockets and she has us all hanging by a thread lol
Also Piri is where Gahyeon has her first rap and whoever had that idea we love you, Gahyeon suits raping so much she has the charisma for it.
This is Dreamcatcher, love or love and love more. Only this options.
ONLY options! Yes agreed!
Fun facts:
If you play the WHAT hook in reverse, they all shout HELP HELP HELP HELP
SuA had a ganglion cyst in her wrist while promoting SCREAM and filming SAHARA and it was so painful that she had it removed surgically mid-promotions and she wore a wrist cast in the later part of promotions.
ooo that's so interesting! Poor SuA that sucks she had to have surgery 🥺
Thank you
No thank you! ☺️
after what ,
the last one is [MV] DREAMCATCHER「Breaking Out」
Good to know! ☺️
17:03 Jiu is always at the bottom of the pyramid since then...
🤣 the poor girl LOL
🤟😄🤟...💯🥰🤩😍Dreamcatcher...🍀😇☘️✌️😉✌️...🌛🤗🌜
🔥🔥🔥
I will watch Dreamcatcher content no matter how many times you post it, but I'm a hardcore InSomnia so I don't know about anyone else.
Dreamcatcher ended their contract with Ponycanyon, their Japanese agency, quite some time ago so there shouldn't be any problem with copyright.
very good to know!! Thank you!! 😊
They need another japanese album! I NEED IT!
omg I can't wait to hear the Japanese albums!! Just the few songs I've heard are sooooo good!!!
I do think you should rewatch according to the eras, yeah :D Context matters because of the storyline!
Yes yes agreed! I just didn’t know how you all would feel about rewatching mvs I’ve already done 😬
Breaking Out wraps it up.
[ENG SUB] 'Breaking Out' Making Video
will be adding it to the list!
Continue rewatching, just..if i may suggest, try not to pause at crucial moments in Dreamcatcher's songs.😊
Dreamcatcher is the DREAM.
I’m totally down to rewatch! ☺️
Its up to you,but yes ,now you know the members.sorry for the bad eng.Frorm Belgium👍
I’m going to do it! ☺️ and do them within their era!
I already have the different versions on the master list under each albums special clips/dances. So this would just be extra stuff not replacing.
