I love when youtubers talk about type 1 diabetes. Its often confused with type 2 where overweight or old people get it and it gets made fun of. Its also nice hearing other peoples stories
Loved this one! That was really interesting having charley on, always wondered about her since seeing her on a Christmas vlog I think it was? years ago. Both turned out really decent people. Lovely to see 👏🏻 such a good podcast I'm so glad he kept going with it.
I would watch and listen to this podcast religiously but I honestly just can’t hear it. It’s so quiet?? There have been so many comments for so long and it’s still so quiet. Please fix it 😩
I don't know whether your sister will see this, but I wanted to let her know that my great aunt had type 1 diabetes from around the age of 30 (I think - certainly when she was quite young) and she lived to be 84 years old, didn't go blind, didn't have a stroke etc. Ironically, her sister (my grandmother) who didn't have diabetes died at 70 from a series of strokes. So you just never know, and I hope that my great aunt's story will give your sister some hope - certainly because they have much better ways of monitoring and treating it now too. Wishing her all the best. x
Out of interest what CGM does she have as well? I have the NHS CGM which is good (kinda) and I have a bluetooth sensor on top of the sensor to send it to my watch and phone
Literally as you started saying the symptoms your sister had I knew she'd be A diabetic, Im type 1 and ive had it for more than half of my life, Im 17 now. I remember when i was first diagnosed the nurses were trying to get a needle into my arm for something or other and she tried 8 times with this massive fuck off needle and she couldn't get it into the vein so she had to get this other more experienced nurse to come and do it, and then being in hospital for a couple of weeks
I still love the pod but goin back makes me feel a but sad now that jordan is no longer on it. The chemistry these 3 had was unmatched. Either way what a great underrated ep of the pod
''Stressors such as emotional trauma, maternal deprivation, family issues, parental neglect, pregnancy, and a disorganized family structure are strongly linked to pica as a form of comfort.'' hmm
wow. As a type one diabetic, who has always only viewed the negatives with it, hearing you guys talk about it and raise the big concerns and go against the stereotypes people have on it has really amazed me. Struggle to ever find people discuss and talk about the seriousness of it, and not only was it a good conversation with the tragic risks of she faced but raising awareness. I am also going to go discuss with my doctor about changing my treatment to this, thank you so much.
Charley’s voice is so calm and relaxing I love it
It’s just nerve , she prob doesnt speak like that
When jack says something funny and gets excited he pushes himself up from his chair
4:54 who does this as a kid, audio listeners wont be able to see...
doesn't show what he does
lolololololollololololololol

Underrated podcast
Iam_Elite its 1 day old.. how can it possibly be underrated?
BBK UK I mean his podcasts in general are underrated and I believe they should get more views
Started talking about how Jack went missing in America and then never told the story...
TheFoleyThree omd yea
It's so much more interesting listening to working class sibling stories than middle/upper class stories; I mean that in the best way possible 😁
This podcast makes my days so much better thank you lads
Rip Lil Peep :(
Charley has such a calming voice
"The same trainers as Dad" 🤣Classic. And how observant.
Literally eating ice cream as they mentioned the brain freeze tactic 😂👌
Is the guest mic always quieter? Or is it the guests?
either way i think they should edit it properly so we dont have trouble hearing you know
It's so annoying because I listen at work and constantly changing the volume
I do also think because some guests are not as used to podcasts so they sit further away and move around more
You must have noticed how much jack is closer to the mic most the time compared to anyone else
@@callumstanley9727 ye he’s basically eating it

I love Crabstickz so much! Every time he has a come back video I’ll watch it and hope for the best honestly. He does live streams sometimes too

The most underrated podcast ever 😂😂😂
I would watch and listen to this podcast religiously but I honestly just can’t hear it. It’s so quiet?? There have been so many comments for so long and it’s still so quiet. Please fix it 😩
Cara Nicolson why don’t you use headphones
Amar Mann I do, but as soon as I’m close to traffic I have to really concentrate and barely hear what’s going on
I’m not listening on headphones and I can hear it fine?? Turn the volume up maybe. I think she just speaks a bit quieter anyway
Yh, I've found the guest mic is so quiet. Its really hard to hear.
I find with siblings there’s always a power dynamic regardless of ages, for example Charley clearly the stronger 😂
9:14 “I’ll bleep his name” 😬
9:21 but then it didnt matter...
Just outing his dad 🤣🤣

Out of interest what CGM does she have as well? I have the NHS CGM which is good (kinda) and I have a bluetooth sensor on top of the sensor to send it to my watch and phone
I want someone to look at me the way Charlie looks at Jordan
Can confirm, phone signal in Norwich Aldi is shite.
35:27 awkward
Jack should get his grandad on

Good vid but u have to make sure the mic is below the guests mouth and also get them to spk louder
Love how casually they talk about eating objects
sound levels aren't good :'(
She just speaks quiet
''Stressors such as emotional trauma, maternal deprivation, family issues, parental neglect, pregnancy, and a disorganized family structure are strongly linked to pica as a form of comfort.''

@@tadhgbenson1081 Jofra Archer is also from Barbados but it doesn't matter to the ECB 😂
Wow never realised Norfolk has an ocean
Right soaking the sponge and then chewing it to get the water out, thought I was the only one
Health anxiety is the worst thing to have
Shout out Thetford!
Worst place ever 😂
@@johnpiketv1518 allow it man, love the thetty
It took me about half the podcast to realise Stevie’s sunglasses on his head but now it’s frustrating me
when dudey and steve tried hard to not laugh at spice
Are he’s little “I would” comment that no one heard 😂😂😂

Her audio is very quiet
She basically whispers
Type two is heridetary also
Mateeee I used to eat washing up powder too
Oh gosh that hairbrush story 😬
Frist relative on the podcast? Did he just forget about his dad
Couldn't hear a word she said. I don't normally agree with the mic comments but
Im type 1 Aswell I hate how people think its just cause we eat shit!!
“What do you think about me”
My dad is genuinely called rolo Fkn class
Puff, hash, bud, jeez weed has so many fuckin names

TOAST AND TEA IS THE BOLLOCKS 😍

Hi Jack
Well we know where all the good genes went
Claim to fame - worked with the prof who made the blood glucose monitor - it’s pretty incredible tech to monitor diabetes 🙏
Hospital gift shop???? Get your Nan on the podcast
Fix your guest microphone
Anyone else think it was Anna maynard
Fuck Me Content Must Be Hard To Think Of????
Why?
Can't hear a word she's saying
We’ve had Fiona, jacks dad and sister now we need his mum
Oh...
She’s beautiful 👀
Do people not know that pate is always made out of liver 😂 not being funny just thought it was a generally known thing 🤷🏼♀️
Dont worry jack, morgan is nowhere near the messi of cricket haha
Stevie mate has had a stinker
Eating Cardboard 😂😂No wonder why she got type 1 diabetes.
You can't,,,, just gain type 1 you're born with it from what I can tell, 2 is the one you get yourself
maybe dont spoil the best laughs before they happen naturally?
Mumcanigoonthecomputerfirst
Why is her face so shiny? 😂
Ed they've mentioned before in another podcast how unbelievably hot it is in there. She looks beautiful.
Scene from the shining. Ironic..as her face is the shiniest thing on youtube
