    I just watched this video and it had some good info , but where is part 2 and 3 ? I am very interested in the portal axle conversion ! There seems to be almost no PROs vs CONs , what makes them good , what makes them bad , how well do they last , are they noisy and so on ?

    Great video Michael, love the 79. I'd love some more info on the iridium setup and antenna that you're using. Cheers

    • @OffroadImages
      @OffroadImages  ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers for the feedback guys. It’s a fairly basic setup really. When the cabin is powered, the unit powers up but is in standby. In order to utilise it, you lift the units antennae, which allows you to connect using your phone. You can text or make calls at the rates set to your plan. We use Pivotel.

    In cab winch controls are probably the cheapest and best mod to a vehicle .
    Just wiring power to solenoids

      Cheers Simon, this makes sense. Just not sure if you can do this with the particular model.

    great video to hear how the build has held up!! still looks very good. What about the Portals.... were they a good option?

    • @OffroadImages
      @OffroadImages  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      A great option… wouldn’t build another 79 without Portals. 👍

    How’s the engine holding up , injectors or starter motor needed any attention yet? Cheers matey

      I guess it really depends on your preferences. I just love the MSA mirrors. Anything larger starts making the 79s look like an elephant I guess
