Good Sunday evening, I like delay pedals very much, probably the most of all types of effects (EHX is very popular with me). This model looks and sounds great (even the DP in the demo😀). Greetings Pavel CZ.👍👍👍
Ok, help me with something please. On the reverse setting there are those little pops/clicks. My flight delay does the same thing. Is this a power supply issue? Is this the way this particular reverse behaves? For example, my DD-20's reverse setting does not experience those pops/clicks. Just trying to understand if that's normal, or if its possible to clean up? Thanks. I have ben using my flight delay with a one spot slim as its power source. Is that a poor quality power supply for this pedal?
I have noticed the same issue on the reverse mode. I’ve tried my Strymon zuma and voodoo labs. At the slower settings I’ll notice glitches or time sync issues where it’ll hesitate or stutter in an unintended way. I say uninteded because other times it’ll act normal and I’ll hear it snap out of it. It’s a shame because the other two modes work great and even though reverse I would use the least amount i was hoping to use live to play some segways or passages, but it’s not worth the risk of it acting funny in a live setting. Lastly I noticed that this pedals buffer does bump the volume/gain a decent amount. I had it in a true bypass looper and even with the pedal off I could hear the gain increase just by switching the looper off and on. Haven’t looked too much into it but maybe that can be remedied by an internal trim pot.
But... you have to know. ALL Examples were Slathered with Mod. I'm attempting to replace a VERY OBSCURE 87 Digital delay That was Sooo ahead of it's time. It litterly nails that Pink Floyd "Wall" Sound. Sooo I thaught, Why not get something a bit bit newer Yes... I love the reverse. Butt it CANT Nail the Beyoud Eventide digi sound. Daaan
I just recently became obsessed with analogue and I accidentally bought a EHX Canyon thinking it was analogue, the GC employee told me it was analogue. When I realized it’s digital, I exchanged it for a EHX Nano DMM. But I concur that companies should be super transparent about whether the pedal is digital or analogue haha.
Most people understand digital-analog emulation settings on a digital pedal do not mean “analog” pedal. Same with the label “tape”. No disrespect intended, it is just a common thing at this point in pedal-use

now this is the pedal content I've been looking for! Lots of tones and info!
Glad you enjoyed it, cheers!! 🤘
Nice warmth to this delay!
Love your reviews .... straight to the point - no waffle .

with headphones, I hear a lot of glitchy little clicks, especially on the reverse mode. Is that inherent to this pedal?

Flight Delays user interface dials and toggle arrangement appears more intuitive than MXR Joshua has been going for me
I bought a "Joshua" Its essentially playing Twister. ( A 60's physical game. Quite enjoyable to watch girls play.)

...it's crazy to me that they stamped the word "analog" on a pedal that is NOT AT ALL analog...
Not the first digital delay to have an analog style mode…
it emulates analog.
