My guess is you mean strong rain and wind combined. Cannot say from practical experience because I did not have such a weather. But on one occasion I had 11 hours of rain with mild wind, and it was completely dry. It has a full coverage fly and its poles are very thick aluminum. So it is strong and stable, I am sure you will be fine, this is an excellent tent.
