They look longer! I tried dr bronners and it made my dreads really greasy and residuey no matter how much I diluted it. I use a liquid shampoo by the brand Faith In Nature (I use the tea tree one) and it's really good.
hey buddy, I would say do it around 5 to 6 inches but i know people who have done it from about 3 and they look good. so it up to you really just don't do it if its under three inches. good luck :)

Hey man. How long would you recommend your hair to be, before you start to dread them with the rubbing method?
I had 121 but two have congoed and i now have 119.
No they are 00 I think 1 cm i was a lot bigger but i shrunk them because i could not get a job at the time. They are as small as they will get.
