Bro, I don't have to see Knee win to see he is still shmooving. Only one guy can win each tournament that doesn't suddenly mean every other person is trash.
The problem is A LOT of people really can't interpret high level play. They can't pick out some of the finer details & little moments that demonstrate brilliance in decision-making & adaptation.
Notice how most people are only able to use results as a metric for whether a player is good or not and not quality of matches or how players perform. This holds especially true for discussions around younger, up & coming players. Just look at how many dupes refused to accept that CuddleCore is good.
And also your fanboys that can't accept whenever their favourite loses and make up excuses. Classic example is when Rangchu won TWT Finals 2018 and tons of people wrote it off on the Panda MU rather than acknowledging that Rangchu was playing his ass off with immaculate spacing and catching on to Qudans/Knee's timing

It's like some people think influencers aren't allowed to be people. A person has every right to tell someone saying dumb shit they're saying dumb shit. An influencer? No you gotta say yes sir no sir. Like what?
Well, no one's gonna stop you, but some people prefer NOT being on the offensive and just staying neutral. I think the only reason some think they ain't allowed to talk shit is because they worry the influencer's actions will give people preconcived assumptions about the influencer's audience, which is not what you want.
Some people also think an influencers' opinion on something, no matter how little he cares about it, somehow validates/invalidates your own. Like an influencers opinion somehow becomes facts. I remember when everyone got mad at Sonixfox for thinking Strive's not fun, like you were for some reason encouraged to agree because its someone big saying it. Like it was suddenly facts or now the truth. That's not how it works dude. It's called an opinion for a reason.
I like when people are like "Influencers aren't special they are just people" but then they're also like "Hey you can't do that you're an influencer be the bigger man"

Sajam literally said the truest thing I’ve ever heard. When any influencer/top player says “insert here” thing is broken, dumb, bullshit, etc. Instantly you get this army of idiots who will repeat that, and believe that, until the day they die. Even if that thing gets nerfed to the ground.
I BELIEVE, I may be wrong 100% but I believe it's because these people are perceived as more knowledgeable on the subject or ya know they're too lazy to create their own thoughts

If im honest, this encompases why I'm fine with avoiding Twitter. I'd rather not get involved in debates or deal with people who'll flame you for having an opinion, even if you were being chill/respectfull about it. I dont really care about insulting people being dumb considering I tend to stay neutral in most "debates". As long as you respect my opinion and don't claim your own as fact, then we're set. I'm kinda tired of the "you're a moron for thinking/liking this" schtick. You don't see me bother anyone or make a scene about it. Just my view on Twitter.

Amen to that. Deleted my Twitter a few months ago and have not looked back. The only Twitter action I see is through videos or articles which act as a re-affirmation for my decision to not use Twitter ever again.

For example, when you look at something like Strive music videos, you see millions of people group up in comments when it comes to expressing how much they love GG lore and characters, but on Twitch or Twitter, they don't make much fuss about it.
It took me some time to get used to the fact that im usually the odd man out in making a fuss about shit I love. At first I thought im the only one with such an opinion. Then I realised that there's a lot who think the same as me, but they dont really say it out loud. They keep it to themselves. They don't try to argue that they're right on the net. On the other hannd, those who like to talk shit tend to show up more frequently, but there's usually only one of them at a time. They're just more vocal. That's Twitter in a nutshell.

@@kokonoegrav I get mad flack for playing axl. People don't realize just how reactive you have to play with a character like this. At least with projectile based zoners you can block of parts of the screen preemptively. Axl can't do that, you whiff you die. Not to mention, normal based zoners can often times be counterpoked when projectile based ones can't. The main thing that gave axl an edge over the more oppressive zoners in other GG games was his better defense with his DP and parries. Now he doesn't have that, so once they release Dizzy, Testament, Venom, or the like he's very liable to get power crept. Not to mention the recent nerfs to his air game.
