Teller's sleight-of-hand is incredible
Ace Gamer - _years_ ago in college they came to perform at my school and I was in charge of guest relations for incoming acts... they needed to do some shopping so I took them into town. When we got to the checkout, Teller started pulling stuff out of my jacket while Penn egged him on and saying _”this man is a thief!!”..._ thankfully no one took it seriously but man, he really is a *_master_* of sleight of hand cause I had *_no idea_* how he was doing it. I still have the autographed *3 of clubs* they used in a card trick for me later backstage as a way of saying thanks :)

Honestly I was just watching him the whole time and it’s really not that good.

PhantomMemory. It’s part of the trick they’ve performed this a few times and he chuckles and says the same thing. I think it’s another bit of misdirection as they both shuffle about laughing it’s brilliant

I'm 25 and watching Penn and Teller is kinda the few times I can still feel childlike wonder. Yes I know it's not real magic and that's its sleight of hand, misdirection and all that stuff. But the fact that they can do the same trick they performed years ago (when I was 10) and I still dont know at which point Teller pulled a fast one on me, shows how awesome these guys are and truly capture the spirit of "magic" performance

One of the things I love most about Penn and Teller is that they set out acting as though they're going to do something and then veer off in an insane direction that surprises you.
i love the way penn distracted us with the juggling to place the red ball your eyes always follow movement its really hard not to so when he juggled the balls your eyes focused just for a second allowing teller to place the ball its so fantastic im not even kidding love these guys

Lol I didn’t even know there was juggling for distraction. I was paying attention to their sleight of hand the entire time.

@@jpsned Do you mean the giant ball, or the "or is it" at the very end? Because if it is the latter that is actually the easiest one in the act.
@@SuperBobKing I'm referring to the the "or is it" trick at the very end. I watched very closely for Teller to be loading a palmed ball, but couldn't detect it. The only other thing I can think of is that it was loaded in the top of the vase.

well kinda? he went into it once, what he eats. hes sort of a vegan, but he doesn't do it for any moral or ethical reasons so he still has meat or what ever he wants 2 or 3 times a month he just doesnt eat much meat or animal products. so hes only like 95% vegan.
These two will go down as some of the greatest magicians of all time. Everything they come up with is fresh and amazing. To be able to take the simple cup and balls and turn it into a Tonight Show event is incredible.
Teller is so good at slight it hand that he lets you know when he palms so that when the real trick hits...it hits hard!
I totally love that the first thing i ever heard Teller saying is this hardly audible whispered "Zombie Draculaaaa" @3:35 What a great choice of the only line he'd say through his entire career.
Just saw them preform this live at their show a week ago is Vegas! It was fantastic! if you liked this go see them live they will leave u speechless

These guys are the best at what they do, pioneers in the art, id call what they do, Meta Magic, they’re tricks are so meta and half the time that’s how they fool you! Nobody else does it like them and to me that’s true greatness
this brought a tear to my eye, i was watching, giggling & laughing like i was 8 years old again watching Penn & Teller on our small cable TV back in the 90's, just glued to the TV screen.... the day these two leave earth is truly going to be a sad day..

There is top half of the ball in cap of the coffin itself. In the ideo there are several moments when Penn or Teller hold little ridge in the middle, and it appears as red ball is in there, however its not a ball, but a part of the cap.
@@CyberGenesis1 well I had a tool like that when I was a kid, the trick for the last one is a half ball hidden in a second layer which you don't show till the end and that's why he didn't take it out. Also it's clear if you focus on the middle of that tool when he opened it the second time he grabbed it from another position to keep the first layer from showing.
Watch how they take it off to show there's no ball vs to show there is one. It gives it all away
The “moves” to make this trick are very simple but it’s beautiful to watch these two pull them all off
The very last one was the most amazing.
This is by far the best version of the old trick.

Knowing how the basic little trick is done was great because it actually enhanced things when the zombies and the big ball appeared. Love it!
you can kinda tell when teller sneaks a ball into the thing...except that last one...that was demon magic

Like when they do the balls and cups with clear cups. It's fast so you can barely follow it, but Penn tells you when they are loading, when they are palming, when they are pocketing. So if you watch it slow it easy to follow. Then an apple shows up from nowhere, with no idea where it came from. Silly trick ends with one amazing bit of sleight of hand.

Like a lot of P&T fans, I studied magic a tiny bit in my youth, and later hung out with excellent street magicians. It never fails to astonish me how easily misdirection works. For instance the giant ball appearance, which is just not very hidden. I know the juggling was misdirection, but I followed it anyway.

It blew my mind when I got caught up watching Penn juggle and then seeing the King Dracula pop out of nowhere. I know the whole routine, but it was such a fun feeling getting wowed by it.

I "saw" Penn holding a red Dracula and thought to myself "haha I'm so smart I saw the trick" and I then realized my stupidity and that it was just his damn red fingernail.
The final ball caught me off guard. I replay again and again and again and still couldn’t figure out how he put the ball back in.
Same I am stuck, is this one of their secrets that we just have to deal with?
