What a wonderful gentleman giving such a positive and knowledgeable feedback. Yes Red Road is back doing his territorial patrols. As far as his leg only eating well and exercise will fix that. I have seen the same in Blondie Avoca and one of the Kruger Males. Always looks worse when they need a meal. All in all I would say definitely on the road to recovery. Very very happy about that. Thank you Tintswalo. I have never in the history of lions heard of a pride rejecting their dominant male just because he was injured in a fight. Especially when they have small cubs and he is the father of the cubs.
RRM is definitely making a comeback and looking stunning as ever. The leg will heal in time.
Always a treat to see this guy. He has such a sweet face (for a lion of course, lol). He's just a calm, peaceful guy that just wants to live out life with his ladies and eat. Haha!! Thank you all for the update! Take care & stay safe!

This boy has used a few of his 9 lives but hes still got a few to go. He looks pretty decent all in all. Thankyou for the update.
He's not ready to stop yet. I'm so glad that he's got the flexibility to sit like he did. As he patrols he'll work that leg and it'll get stronger. After all, it's got to carry around it's share of 500lbs.

Is it possible the Lionesses' were just afraid of him dying and were more upset and didn't know what else to do except prepare for the inevitable? Red Road is still not out of the woods yet. We must pray and ask that he be totally restored to a healthy male Lion once again. We still have HOPE!!! It appeared that he was able to walk without a PRONOUNCED limp. YAAAAY!!!!

It is nice to see that Red Road Male is doing well and back with is family I just hope he will keep himself out of trouble now. I’m still shock that he not only was against 2v1 and if folk seen the tintswlo’s males he gave then a hell of a beaten or fight but normally it’s a death sentence but he’s 6 going 7 and powerful is a understatement to him he has it all servileskill, smarts, experienced and will not back down the snare could kill nor two adults males against only him and still he’s over came the obstacles and his pride now will help because only if they wat he went thru to stay alive for and protect them and he’ll bulk back up but he needs water that will keep him energy
He need to eat and relax
I am so happy his pride took him back and he is healing and i pray he leave mcdevil and those lions alone

Red Road appears to be suffering from Bovine Tuberculosis transferred by eating infected Buffalo, hopefully he will continue for some time yet

I know Hyenas have their purpose, but I never root for them. I just hope the Lion recovers fully, which could explain why the hyena seemed so at ease strutting down the street! I just hate when the mighty fall, just like this great lion. I hope it’s temporal, but he needs to get some nourishment! ☹️

Were the rangers able to dart him and provide medical care? Will they if he is still rejected from the pride, or he doesn't heal?
No they let fait take it's own course. Only time they intervene is if they get caught up in a snare and things like that.

@@stevenparker525 I guess the reason they intervene in situations like a snare is because that is not nature taking its cause, but rather humans, in this case poachers affecting nature.
@@symph760 yea they are really good with helping them with snares. I hate poachers. But I would love them to help them in every situation.
The only time I can understand the commentator is when the camera is right on his face and I can hear him better and read his lips... When he's not on camera, I can understand maybe 10% of what he's saying....

He does recover only as he and DM normally do and astonish us, Maybe seeing what the future will possibly have in store he will be not such a dic… at times . Time will tell, Also there was 4 of the TW brothers and now 3 has anyone heard if he came back or found deceased or bones after predators if lucky ?
