I miss my aerostar, it was the fastest piston twin at the time it came out. The original design plans were for it to be a jet but no suitable engines existed. There is a company working on a conversion and if they get approval I will definitely buy another and have it converted due to the amazing handling characteristics.
I flew too many times over loaded ,quit because of first grandson.FORBID family members to fly with.him.😂He was killed at 58.I am 83 retired in Hawaii driving my overloaded 4x4 farm truck.
Arkansas...problem was Barry made on of his drops outside a little town in Arkansas...two teen age boys walking down the railroad tracks saw it...they investigated and were murdered.....people "above the local police" stonewalled the investigation to this day.....destroyed their family and untill just a couple of years ago....they leave the case open so they do not have to answer any questions about what happened....the state prosecutor for that region of Arkansas...became the govenor....probably didnt help either.

I believe that actor was supposed to be Pablo Escobar? If so cops wouldn't dare shoot him as they would want to take him into custody even if he was shooting back... If they shot him their entire family wife kids and anybody they knew would probably be murdered
Good drama but totally unrealistic from a flight perspective. Desperate to gain lift and then going into the canopy? Impossible to increase lift. Result? Disaster.
