Its interesting that the FCC, which controls the airwaves that the networks still broadcast on, has always had no real issue with violence, blood and gore, but always came down on hard on depictions of sex, sexuality and sexiness. Is that because the US is still stuck in its Puritan and prudish heritage?
My favorite bit of trivia about Danny Devito joining Always Sunny is that he fucked with the other cast members when first meeting them about joining the cast, making them think he was insane.
Disney does not own NBC, they own ABC. Comcast owns NBC and did so probably around the same time that the episode aired. ABC did however air the final two seasons of Scrubs.
What's the name of that car featured in "The Walking Dead"? Oh of course, "Hi And Die". What? Is that how Hyundai is produced in the UK? I guess it makes sense, "Hi And Die" in a TV series with "Dead" in the title. Just imagine if the series had been called "Zoombies", how many million more "Zoomba" Vacuum Cleaners would have been sold?
Gotham wasn't allowed to make any references to joker whatsoever. So Cal Kestis wasn't allowed to have green hair or any references to chemicals or acid vets or whatever the hell 🤷🏾♂️
Yeah - product placement vehicles are a blessing and a curse. The car companies usually get more information and more of a look at the script than us guys who actually have to drive them on set.
I've never seen it, but this is my view of _M*A*S*H_ as well. I appreciate the compromise the studio accepted-no laugh track in the operating room or other more serious scenes-but like the creators I'd prefer it gone altogether.
I laughed so hard at Hyundai, I can't take issue with it. Just to let anyone at WC who actually might pay attention to the comments know, there's an episode of Family Guy that spoofs Man Down Under by rhyming Hyundai with Monday.
Sure, yeah, British person mispronounced foreign words, ha. Seriously though, Smallville. In the ninth season, not the last season even, Clark fought and defeated Doomsday, the being that killed Superman, beFORE he was even Superman. It kind of diminishes the importance of Superman....on your Superman show. And then next season, they were like, sure Doomsday sure was tough, but what about Metallo? Did not finish the show.

C'mon guys! You can look up the pronunciation of any word in the English language on Google, including how to properly pronounce brand names and car models...Like "Hyundai" and "Tucson". Tighten up a little, people.
1:43 im done with these list. They use to be fun but now what are they? This channel showed several clips of the "hy in dyi" dirty and with blood on it. Honestly its not that hard to believe they washed the blood and guts off the car. Thats a point i always found dumb because they show the car dirty a few times and it did eventually break down.
WTF is a Tuckson? How hard is it to look up the proper way to say word. It's so jarring and takes me out of the video. Feels sloppy and lazy. Also, NBC is owned by Universal. This video just gets worse and worse.
Not being able to call Joker Joker in Gotham

It was John Constantine's penchant for smoking that led his cutting a deal with the proverbial 'guy with the red suit', and I don't mean Santa.

It’s not pronounced that way either. 2 syllables… ‘Hyun- Deh’.
I hear it all the time. A lot of people think the "y" needs to be used in the word. Never hear Tuscon butchered like that though.

Hyundai TUSCON, as in the city in Arizona, pronounced "Too-sahn"

The fonz’s leather jacket rule was so ridiculous. It is why there was a broken down motorcycle in his apartment.
