    Bonjour! Excellent video.
    Have you decided yet?
We are retired educators from Portland. We just finished a long stay in Europe: 5 months helping a new school open in Lvivv, one month in Krakow learning about WWII, and a month in Tallinn.
My teacher's pensions and our social security, plus rental income, qualify us for the Visa de Long Séjour Valant Titre de Séjour VLS-TS . But we are not sure which area of France is best for us as seniors.
Toulon looks perfect. And we love the beaches!! Healthcare, public transportation, and within walking distance to markets are important.
    Merci!
    Dean & Cindy

      Bonjour!
Thank you for your kind words about the video! I'm glad that you found it helpful.
I've thoroughly enjoyed exploring France, but the South has truly captivated my heart due to its pleasant climate and convenient proximity to the beaches. As someone who hails from Cape Town, I find the weather here quite familiar.
We've currently made Hyeres our home base, but we frequently visit Toulon. Toulon seems like a perfect fit for you, and there's no shortage of vibrant markets to explore in the area.
I hope your French is better than mine, as it can certainly help with settling in quicker.
      Au revoir! MAX
