The shooter style of belt is intended for direct action and mission sets that don’t require personal retention lanyards. Although the D3 BELT is strong enough to withstand thousands of pounds of force, it was not designed to be a rigger’s belt. It has a true one inch MOLLE specification and two inch wide design to accommodate MOLLE pouches, and still utilizes a 1-¾” inner belt to fit through common pant belt loops. If you guys start making police related pouches (baton, taser, handcuffs) it would be great. I'm thinking about buying a D3 belt for duty use, but I'm still running another maker which is holding up great. But I like the 4 inch adjustability, so that I can expand it out when I add on ice vents for comfort.
I second this, I just got the D3 belt for duty use and would love to pair the belt with d3 pouches.
just get the ronin shuto belt for duty.. that is what i use. its essentially what haley copied, same with safelife.

In my experience, being an H60 crewchief, I avoid velcro like the plague. Velcro wears out, fails when dirty, and has poor frictional tension. Have you done anything differently with your pouches and if so, can you speak on the long term effectiveness under heavy use? Thanks guys
Yea, velcro gets a hard pass from me for everything but the inner belt. Learned that with my leatherman pouch.. give it a year and you'll be trying to stretch that flap out to the one little patch where the loops haven't worn out. The button snap on the replacement pouch is fixin' to outlive the nylon itself, though - after several years.
Just an interesting choice from a design perspective. Gotta start somewhere though I guess.
Velcro is loud as all hell!!! Imagine trying to pull shit out in the woods or stealth approach and velcro sound happens... maybe you make a bird noise at the same time...

@@mbm2355 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣That's exactly how I envision it. Don't understand how people with combat experience would mess with velcro, especially because of the noise. There is no way to open velcro quietly unless it is worn and then it is worthless. Elastic with buttons would be the best option.
