As a life long Oilers Fan, You guys are going to LOVE Hollywood Holloway! Great Kids personally, Spectacular speed and smarts on the ice. He will be set free from the bottom 6 in Edmonton. We will miss him!

Thank you! I hope the organization takes good care of him and develops him into a well-rounded player. The good thing about the Blues is that they develop players well.

Mr.Holloway in game 4 of last years SCF's looked to me as Edmonton's best player.
2 goals and 1 assist, that game made me a believer.

Hell no, don't want your head, Dylan! Want you on the Oilers but..... you made the best decision you knew how to make. Nothing but best wishes to you -- except of course when you're playing against #LetsGoOilers. Nothing but love, son.

    RIP Gaudreau brothers.
Also I am stoked for holloway and broberg. Very cool to see him excited abt playing and possible top 6 minutes, or top 9. We cld really have these guys excel and help us become a cup contender again(sooner than expected!) LGB!!!

It is going to happen. Blues are a much different team this year. Scheen might be getting a bit of the father time right now but I feel like the rejuvenated roster with all our additions in Holloway, Texiar, Joseph, Faksa and resigning Kap. We got some great forward depth. Torpo earned a full time spot. Losing Krug was a blessing in disguise. We got Suter, Joseph and Broberg to fill those rolls.
      RIP Johnny and Matthew.

Will miss Broberg, but Holloway is a bottom 6 player. Wouldn't be surprised if his career will be similar to Yamamoto, get paid while you can Dylan.

I don’t blame him at all. The oil’s management dropped the ball. He wasn’t asking for too much. Terrible asset management.

Maybe short term it sucks but long term the blues future is a lot more brighter than Edmonton. No young talent coming up from the minors can’t rely on 3-4 really good players to win it all. Otherwise you’ll just be another Toronto maple leaf team.

I'm not so sure. If the Oilers knew about the offer sheet before they even began talking to these players...this looks like a deliberate decision to let them go. Time will tell if there's something up JJ's sleeve - maybe another shoe to drop to get through the SC window; maybe something at trade deadline requiring cap space? But I just can't believe they knew about the offer sheets and didn't lift a finger to let these guys know the Oilers want them. Makes no sense.
