- This is a videoessay I did for my thesis.
The first part is from Tokyo-Ga, a documentary by Wim Wenders. This extract is the perfect definition of what a pillow shot at it's core is.
The other 3 main parts of the video are: Ozu's early work (B&W), Ozu's late work, other directors' more recent work.

What a ride! Great work dude! The first 6 mins are especially amazing. Love Ozu.
Yet to watch any of Ozu's films but this is beautiful. I love when films feature still shots like this. The accompanying music is so calm.
