I'm glad Hyundai didn't make the Tucson as big as the competitors, since there are people out there that prefer a more compact SUV than the Equinow and Journey.
Hyundai is doing what the competitors CAN'T..making a stylish flashy car packed full of features for less than anyone else...BORING toyota, Overpriced Honda and that other company (nissan) can't do anything to compete...
Got one 2013 has 208k on or in my family since nee just oil changes and brakes still going so I say they definitely had a winner still runs like a top!
This is my family's car and it's awesome although it doesn't have a roof window and it doesn't have a touch screen in the cabin we have the normal screen and our car doesn't have 4wd it's a normal car but it's awesome
Yup, but it’s cause these were the non-GDI Thera II engine and constructed differently - they haven’t had remotely the same issues as the ones in the 2011 Sonata, etc.
my mom's 2009 kia rondo 2.4L has 221k miles, original engine and transmission. I'm 6'3", 202 lbs and fit in it great. I wish the steering wheel had telescopic function though it still fits me great. i had a 2015 kia soul with the 1.6L, automatic. original engine and transmission. sold at 267k miles. it was a big mistake to sell it. i can't wait to get another kia or hyundai
@@sabugdalantx the upside to that is.. new alternator! Shouldn’t have any further problems if you drive it right. I should trade mine in on a newer model.. but, is it dumb that I like this one better? I’d also like to think it’s possible to keep her running for twenty years, try and slide her into a classic car status for the future lolz not even joking.
i dont think hyundai needs to worry about the honda crv since everyone says its way under powered and towing is crap and carryin alot of people and cargo the car is just slow int he tucson it does so so os much better
@soyntgo4it i was talking about the crv not hyundai. i have a hyundai so i know all about their cars man. but the crv is way under powered. oh 2013 is a new crv but its small inside cant fit alot of people comftorably and alot of cargo unlike the tucson or santa fe you can or compare it to rav 4 the rav 4 is better
Gotta admit the styling was way ahead of it’s time, perfectly executed

Ok but how does it perform in a zombie apocalypse?

I just noticed they spelled Tucson wrong!!!
Any 2.4l still on their original engine?

I still have my Tucson from 2010 and only with 89,000 miles and with no problem other than the passenger power window not working.
So do i
Me too. At 194,000 mi. She still looks great and works great too!
@@dinguskhan9969 wow almost 200k, I just changed my alternator cost was $500 labor and parts a bit high but back on the road again. Now ar 115k miles

@@dinguskhan9969 good points and yes classic
what a beautiful and reliable car. I'd trust it more than I would a Ford/Lincoln of the same early 2010s era 🤷♂

@avlisk He been working for a long time, he is really quite dedicated.
Like all Hyundai products thay look good, but ride very rough
@heroheroic no you cant even say all hyundai cars ride rough unless you drive all of them yourself you cant say anything.
@soyntgo4it no i know but its a suv atleast have a good engine and good room for the price your selling it for
The next generation Tucson is coming next year. Hopefully it looks like the Santa Fe
David Aubin It actually comes out to N. America in a few months. They do favor one another, nice styling.
@@Saturnvue2005 just about a 2012 today. Mine works for now! Haha
