You did pretty much what I would have done. A good, solid 1x with rim brakes, flat bars, thumb shifter. For a commuter, a narrow-wide chainring would negate the need for that chain guide - I’ve put 5000 miles on my 1x and never dropped a chain.
Ok sweet thanks for the advice, the Scott I built in the previous video had a problem with dropping the chain, so I went for a chain guide on this build but I’ll try the narrow wide chainring ❤️
Sweet build. Great edit. Keeping that dropped Allen Key in there is definitely keeping it real for anyone who’s ever even tweaked a bike 😂 Keep the vids coming.
Let me know what you think of the build, Id love to know what you would have done with this frame and forks 🤔😬

Nice job. That crank was stubborn but the mechanic always wins! 😎
Great build. Everything ties together.

@SJMCycles is that possible to have a list of all the new components you've installed please?
Yo what is that custom chain guide would love to find one like that. Nice work 👌
Hey, it’s a DMR chain guide, I got it on eBay as DMR don’t make it anymore.
What parts do I need to do these handlebars I have the same bike but don’t like the bars that are on it
WOW bro that frame could use a much better paint job and brand decals and clear coat 😊
