@@arthurmorgan5217 well you don’t really use the camera that often. It’s only used in hitman 3 for a tools use,. But in hitman 1,2 it doesn’t really do anything
A tip for people.
The treehouse is an agency pickup, so you can smuggle your sniper there. Then instead start as a fumigator with some emetic poison and poison everyone in Nolan Cassidy's house, Makes the first 7 cameras real easy.

Never would've figured this one out. I thought I needed to complete "Friendly neighborhood hitman"(maybe take out Gunther so Janus can move freely) and part of mission story "Charbroiled" to get them to go to the back yard BBQ together. Knowing that Cassidy is paranoid control freak, this actually makes sense: he notices that all cameras have gone dark and since his other objective is to also keep eye on Janus's activities, he naturally thinks Janus is trying something and meets up with him.
I already turned the cameras control....but I'll see if I destroy the cameras after that will still trigger this.
FYI, you don't have to count on a few seconds of luck. After several reloads, their final positions were always different. Only one of those had them aligned perfectly. Reload until you get that.
I messed this up pretty bad while removing the cameras so i just killed all the guards in Janus' house, dragged him under the tree house, went and did the house showing to Cassidy, killed his guard then dragged Cassidy on top of Janus and shot, it took around 30 mins but I did it without restarting because i was over it at this point. Still got all the challenges though.
I ran through killed off all their guards and drag them into the bathroom. Wondered why I didn't get the challenge until it came to the comments and read it here. Funny how many times I've read the challenge on the game and totally spaced out about the treehouse.
I missed a camera somewhere so I might try this.
I had to wait a solid five minutes before they would have their meeting because Cassidy just sat on the couch at the BBQ rather than go to where he's supposed to be.
Alright MrFreeze. I've used your video for so many challenges that stump the shit out of me, and i gotta say, keep up the fantastic work on all your videos. One of the best hitman youtubers out there

The crazy sway of Druzhina has been fixed in the latest patch with Elusive Target 1 (Sean Bean). The sway is much more manageable now.

I'm playing the mission now, and I don't know if it happens every time, but when you aim your sniper from the treehouse, the Blood Money theme quietly plays in the background. And it stops when you're not aiming the weapon. Is this an Easter Egg that has already been found?

An (in my opinion) easier playthrough would be to use the smuggling location to get the sniper rifle in the tree. Then bring a lockpick and sedative pills with you. You use the machine connected to Nolan's house to pacify all guards (even the one outside that you knocked out). Turn the machine off, head inside and destroy all the cameras. Then move over to Janus' house, where you shoot all cameras from the outside. The inside camera can be destroyed by using the secret passage in the basement of the house next to Janus'. Once Janus and Gunther are upstairs, you can just about shoot the camera from downstairs. Quickly head back outside and into the treehouse, and take your shot.
8:27 I agree a professional should be able to hold the sniper still... That's why I hardly attempt the sniper assassin challenge, really irritates me when I have to wait for the Crosshair to be in the right place.
Update: if you have haven island you can get jaeger 7 tuatara from doing the 3 mission stories. The jaeger 7 tuatara penetrates bodies and has a silencer

I can say with confidence, yes! You can infact shoot everyone, drag the 2 guys unconscious bodies outside and still do the challenge.
I did everything right,but one of the targets started to leave before the other could cross his path.
i have the same hit box issues with headshots sometimes too - super frustrating.
It's a console issue from what ive heard

Sway? Didn't you play Hitman: 2 Silent Assassin Mission #14 - Motorcade Interception? It was a MI95 Sniper. .50 cal, baby!
They never walked in front of each other when they met in my playthrough.

The targets have several different positions. So you either reload or knock them out and then shout both.

This took an incredibly long time for me, but I finally managed it. Here is what I did. After shooting the cameras, Cassidy walks over to Janus' property and just sorta stands around. He and Janus never had a proper meeting. I couldn't figure out what was wrong until I reloaded a few times and followed Janus. He goes over to Helen's. So, after knocking out both bodyguards and Cassidy, I waited for Janus to get back to somewhere secluded, knocked him out, and dragged him over Cassidy's body.
Took the shot from the treehouse using the Jaeger 7 Lancer. Time-consuming, for sure, but it was the only way of getting Unreasonable.
yup annoying as hell except my Janus never left his house. He wandered around his house until Cassidy left I wounder if its a Hitman 3 glitch.
For getting 17 times ranks of sniper assassin (that includes extra missions), you get a very good ICA Bartoli Woodsman Hunting Rifle Covert that also penetrates bodies.
Don’t want to sound like a tryhard fan boy but you’re seriously a god at hitman my guy. Best in the game

Luxuriia, I know I’m a year late to responding 😅, but did you ever fix your problem with discovery. Because I’m stuck with 1 discovery left on Whittleton Creek and I’ve been playing that map forever.
If you grind in the Siberian Sniper mission (the video you made helped me so much, thank you), you can actually get the Druzhina but it will be silenced and the sway is greatly reduced. It also has a sick Arctic Camo on it, and has the same perks like shooting through bodies.
But I do realize the grind is super tedious and it is a DLC map but I wanted to point that out.
I agree, it looks like the best sniper you can get. Slowing down time, the wallproof and shockwave bullets, as well as probably all of the uprades you get on the way before the sniper itself.
Thanks. I got Unreasonable Scope on the third attempt (ie, third successful one-bullet-only attempt). The meeting point was closer to the sniper nest but in that same garden, took to about 20 minutes for them to meet (although I took about 13 to take out the cameras). I noted some of the stuff below. I had the Sieger 300 Lancer, stood up in the treehouse, didn't zoom in (I don't think I zoomed in anyway) and waited for their heads to line up (a couple of split-second opportunities for that).
I’m beginning to think timing when you created this walkthrough, has changed since. Probably from recent updates? I’ve found this type of situation a few times for me.
After I sniped both targets, I quickly found out that I had very little time to escape, as bodyguards stormed the treehouse backyard very quickly. Good thing I saved at a right point. And after several tries I gave up trying to get silent assassin, suit only. And bit the bullet in getting seen and triggering combat.
Your walkthrough was great Freeze. I would never have figured out that you have to take out all the cameras to trigger that meet. Thanks!

Anyone watching this in the WoA era - you get the Hackl Leviathan sniper at level 20 Chongqing, has piercing rounds and is a much better rifle overall.

On my playtru the guys don’t face each other the way yours does and in different part of the garden so I’m unable to do one hit kill both people. The sway is fixed as well. Anyone else have this issue.
I had this problem. However, I reloaded my save and repositioned slightly and was able to take the shot.
I used the Sieger 300 and all guards immediately swarm on my location. Kinda bs

I don't know if you know this, but on PC if you hold shift with a sniper it holds breath and steadies the shot
I tried this on Master with extra cameras. For some reason when you shoot the additional cameras which are added (from professional to Master) it doesn't count. For example once you start the mission there is an additional camera to the left in Master mode. I shot that but it doesn't count towards the 12 cameras. Same for an additional camera to the left before opening the first locked door at the start. So there is no point in doing this in Master mode to have additional cameras to shoot. Like Freeze mentions in the video.
he says "this is he only sniper in the game that can do this." it's 2021 and there is the hackle leviathan sniper rife covert, it also pernitrates, and look super badass.
In Hitman 2 it was the only one at the time. Overall I think we have 4 now as of 2021 in Hitman 3
I didn't understand.... Cassidy go in Janus' garden because I destroyed all the cameras or is going to happen anyway?
Although I haven't gotten a successful run yet, I believe Cassidy only goes to Janus once the camera's have all been destroyed.
For me all the cameras in the game are not their in every map

Should have used the same rifle...didn’t realize that Druzhinia 34 has penetrating rounds...out of all the rifles I believe this is the only one. THIS IS A MUST or challenge won’t work. Took Seiger 300 Tactical didn’t work...

Do the cameras spawn in different areas? I know it’s a weird question but I fired up your video and I couldn’t find the camera on the porch. So I restarted the mission and no camera. I restarted again and found a different TH-cam video and their first camera was on the left side of the house as you’re looking at the front door but I don’t have that one. I restarted and finally the camera on the front porch.
How exactly did you trigger them to meet? Cause I went to the tree house after getting all the cameras shot,and just sat there like an idiot..?

Okay... so it can't be done on "Casual" because there are no cameras to destroy, which is needed to trigger them to get into sniping area. All those house wasted...
For Mr Freeze or anyone else who knows the answer, will Hitman 2 be carrying over our save data from Season 1, IE challenges completed, suites and items? I haven’t purchased Hitman 2 yet but was able to install it and see Season 1 but with all the progression reset. Does this mean we will have to replay the original content(albeit updated) to gather our progression stuff back? Thanks in advance!
Hitman 2 doesn't carry over your save data, only gives you the ability to play the levels in Season 1. You need to unlock your inventory all over again by getting mastery points or doing specific challenges (for an example, you get Silverballers for doing three specific mission stories/opportunities in Paris). Challenge packs aren't available in Hitman 2, so you can't get the prestigious claw hammer and any suits you unlocked are lost, not counting a winter coat that you get for owning Season 1 and three other suits for owning GOTY / Definite edition of Hitman 2016. You also don't get access to The Sarajevo Six contracts, even on PS4 and many escalations are not available at the moment, but there's usually at least one per location.

Regardless, I’ve been a locked in fan since Silent Assassin so still going to get this game, just wanted to know if all the work I’ve done in Season 1 carried over. Still, now with over 12 maps, more suits and gadgets and mechanics and hopefully more to come, definitely enough content to enjoy for many months to come. If the game is good enough I’d be willing to keep investing in this direction for quite some time. Thanks again!
Already did the bodyguard challenge separately prior to working on this one …and these guys just won’t meet up..its been 30min of hanging out in a treehouse

Awesome 👍 I'm not having the same trouble you're having with shooting the cameras. The lock-on works perfectly for me. Maybe they patched it? They also seem to have patched the sniper you used, it doesn't sway nearly as much now.

For some reason the targets don't meet up at 9 10 for me. Is that some kind of problem or is the time they meet up just random?
I can get them to line up from time to time but I can’t get it to penetrate through one target and hit the other for some reason.

The sway can be deactivated with mods, its annoying and illogical that it goes up and down like that
I destroyed all of the cameras but they don't meet.
Anyone else having issues with this? I've reloaded and restarted like 10 times, and they never cross paths before meeting. Cassidy arrives in his spot for 2-3 minutes, and Janus yells at him from the porch. Then Cassidy just walks over to their final meeting spot before Janus has even left the house.
Old people generally just yell at people from the porch :)
odd, my sway was very minor compared to yours. Also they met up at a different spot in the yard too

Damn, I didn't know that's what triggered them to meet. I did that challenge and then thought nothing of it. I ending up having to pacify the surrounding houses, pacify both targets, stacked them on top of each other and then shoot them. Got the job done but that was a pain.

same. I finished the challenge for removing all cameras, but at that point I already killed one of them lol, I didn't know it would trigger a meeting, I just know Diana says something will happen but nothing else.

The sniper dose that because it’s an inside joke from the original Hitman games all of the snipers back then swayed up an down like that and that is one of the original snipers from the first game in the Hitman series

Did anyone else have their briefcase “stashed” while in the Janus house? I had left it at the bottom of the house and it got taken I guess while I was shooting the last camera

Fairly easy if you smuggle the sniper rifle into the treehouse (you need a certain amount of location mastery for that to open.)
well I tried to do this on hitman 3 and this must be bugged because they do not align for me, guess I'll have to do this the annoying way DX

I think this has been changed, Cassidy and Janus don't like up for the one shot as of 2/16/21
Oh so you need to destroy all the cameras from Janus and Cassidy's house, so they will meet each others
also do i have to take out cams to do the sniper challenges am trying to master all maps on all difficultys i have been using ur vids to help i just got done with season 1 an working on season 2
If you don't want to shoot the cameras and get Unreasonable Scope, you can snipe Janus through the bathroom window, then start the burgers at the party and snipe Cassidy when he comes for a plate.
Paul Oliva Actually that would get you the Reasonable Scope I think because Unreasonable Scope is them both with one sniper shot

Just tried this now in my second playthrough of whittleton creek. 3 of the cameras didn't proc for me. Maybe because I shot up everyone to get some of the assassinations/body hiding lol?

Is the only way to get Cassidy over to Janus' property to shoot all these cameras? I've tried everything else i could think of. Moved the propane tank to the grill and got Cassidy to the Wilson party and got rid of Janus' mole problem but nothing.
Why would you try other things? Just do as in the video..

sound in this game seems to be bugged, guards won't react to things on different floors for the mostpart it seems.

I think that shooting all the cameras is the reason for the meeting. So not this time.
