You are awesome Linda ~ you have marvelous ideas that are attainable for all of us ~ you are “our” Martha Stewart. Your Videos are getting better and better. Thank you for sharing your creativity and enthusiasm! ❤️
Linda, Not only are you an ambassador for gardening but a wonderful host to discovering Oklahoma City. The more I learn about your city (through you) the more I would love to visit for shopping, dining, etc. And, the business of Plenty Mercantile would be at the top of my list!
Linda The dance at your sons wedding was so beautiful I had to cry. I have 4 sons, 1 daughter and certainly could relate. I also enjoy your wonderful gardening videos. Love you
You are so adorable and fun whenever you share the space with others, how precious to see your friendships with your local businesses! What an incredible place, the field trips are super fun! Thank you for sharing your journey with the world.
Linda, thanks for showcasing. I’ve been to Plenty many times. The are about unique items and excellent customer service. Really great people. And of course “GO POKES “
So happy to virtually visit this incredible venue🙌and the hat just makes the outfit!! Hubs gifted me his straw Stetson for gardening and I ordered this one for my “dress” straw hat😆totally love it💜
Wow, what a cool and creative venue. Thank you for sharing...wishing Tracy and Brittany continued success. PS: Linda, you have a great eye for fashion/style (as well as gardening, decor, etc).....simple, comfy, classy elegance. :)
I loved this tour - another great OKC business...I call this look "Rustic Chic"! Great ambience with the church bells and trains...nice gardens. And sustainable. Also I miss Dillard's.
beautiful. I love the rooftop venue. did she ever give you the website or formula for the rooftop soil that she uses. You mentioned that igt will be good for hanging plants.
Same for Ohio. If u dont like the weather just wait a min cause it will change. 2 days ago i watched the rain flood down my street in waves of water like waves rolling in on the beach.
Enjoyed this tour! Wonderful to see that as a society we are coming around to appreciate the older buildings and structures that have survived, and are now being reused in creative ways! Celebrating the character of our inner cities that makes them unique! Who wants to see the whole country become one homogenized, indistinguishable blur of suburban mediocrity?
Loved the rooftop. I also have a rooftop garden. There was extremely heavy rain a few days ago here in Belgium. ( it was a disaster ...lot of damage on houses and gardens). But we have to move on .... Kind regards, Marcus
Hi everyone: It's day 3 of rain here in New England (zone 6B) and I'm getting concerned about my water-logged plants in pots. I feel bad for those who have experienced far more rain. What advice do you all have? Short of moving my pots into my garage, which I may decide to do, will the plants be able to make it with SO much rain? Thanks for whatever info you can share.
Susan I have turned a number of my pots gently on their side. For most it’s not possible of course, but for those that I can, I have found it effective.
Just a thought... I wonder if you were to take any plant support rings you have, position them over the pots, and then balance plastic trays or other lightweight pans on top to catch and/or deflect the water? Even old tray tables might work! I've used strategically placed tray tables to cover tender plants when there is danger of frost... and when necessary have draped old plastic tablecloths over the tables. That way the plastic does not touch the plants.
I wasn't really into too much industrial, it can seem very heavy and masculine, sort of man cave stuff. But you have pitched this just right. Clean, fresh, modern and all recycled. I take my hat off to you. It always pays to revisit an area that hasn't appealed in the past. Great respect for what you have achieved : )
Linda what an awesome place. Thanks ladies for the tour❤️❤️❤️
What a magical event venue must look dreamy during the evening too, and you look amazing as always!
Tracy and Brittany - how progressive, creative, practical, eco-conscious and the design is totally stunning ! Congratulations! 🌸🇨🇦
