I totally disagree with Top Plops about you not knowing names of figurers. It actually blows my mind how you know how to pronounce them and are so knowledgeable when the came out, if there is a chase for some, etc. Credit where credit is due

A lot of retail stores don't allow you to record on the premises to protect the staff, or they might think you're casing the joint. You can record in public but the rules are different in places of business.

I've only come across two chases out in the wild. Every other chase Ive seen has been at a reseller's store or a convention. But yeah in the wild, just twice. First time was a long time ago that I forget when. I was 2nd in line at Hot Topic. I had spotted an Invisible Frodo Chase from LOTR on a high shelf. It was right there on the other side of the window. I didn't care for it . I don't buy chases just cuz they chases. If it had been something like a Spider-Man or Bob's Burgers or a horror movie character I would probably would. the guy in front of me saw it and lost his mind. never saw anyone start to act very childish. we were the only two there that morning and when the doors opened he grabbed the employee, moved him aside and ran and grabbed that chase laughing hysterically the whole time. I remember the employee looking at me and giving me that look like "what the heck is wrong with this guy". the 2nd time I ran into a chase was this past Thursday. I went to a local comic shop and they had just stocked up on new Funko pops. As you go in the door they have a table set up with all the new stuff. it's the first thing you see right as you go in, right in front. There at the very top was a WWE Alexa Bliss chase looking creepy as hell. Since I already had the Bray Wyatt Fiend pop, I felt like the two should belong together. I don't like the look of it, but I felt they had to be together. Until I found out the price. While all the regular versions of her were going for $15, they automatically priced the chase straight out of the box at $25. Nope. I had already told myself I would never buy another Pop worth over $15 ever again. So I just left it there.
I think of it as an accomplishment that I backed Tristan into a corner
